    Rain
    by xx CiaO xx

The rain drips slowly on the softened window pane
The pitter-patter makes me remember again.

One year ago, we got into that car
But somehow, we never got very far

While driving along down a long, dark street
Your car and the tree just happened to meet

So as you slid out of control, your memories flashed
You had no idea that it would be her last

Holding onto the wheel as you tried to grasp
All that escaped from your mouth was a hollowed gasp

Swerving to the left and sliding to the right
You weren't sure if your were gonna see the next night

Holding onto a prayer, a hope, and a dream
Things are never what they seem

But you came out of the wreck alive
But you would never forget what you left behind

Because sitting in the seat was the body of a girl
Who just had her last ride in this world

You never knew that she was sitting there dead
You were more concerned about your throbbing head

So now you see what what rain can do
When you're driving too fast and drinking too

I shut my eyes and try to get rid of the pain
But I will never be able to hold you again

I should've gotten out of that car when I could
But you should've been sober like you knew you should

So sitting by your window pane
Is the only time I can look in your eyes again

For I'll float away and might never return
So I hope this lesson is one that you'll learn

Driving that way, you will never do again
Because you never know what might have been

Floating in the rain as I look for something whole
Reduced to nothing but this floating soul

    Lightning/thunder/storms
This is one of my old poems. If you don't like this one I can write a new one.

    The Storm

Thick gray pillows of clouds roll
across the sky, as booming claps
of thunder roar with manly pride.

    Showers of silver rain drops
    descend upon the earth.
    The wind arrives, in a
    fashionable time and
    tries to do its worst.

    The leaves upon the trees
    shivers from the cold.
    Lightning strikes and lights
    the sky a beautiful shade
    of gold.

    The sun peaks out
    from behind a
    cloud to share with
    earth its warmth.

    It then waves goodbye to
    the passing tide and
    that's what ends the storm.

    Windmills
    By: Twisted Heart
    Topic: Wind

Comes the icy winds of change
Clashing down on me like thunder
    Blowing frosty breaths of pain
Upon my limbs they carry under.

Inside the secret of the storm
Against the essence of my soul
Torn down to my very core
As the gusts around me blow.

    Tipping over bodied swells
Giving to my heart so shaken
An emptiness that tells the tale
    Of warmth that winter's taken.

Upon my planks, the cold now rests
Inside my humbled heart it breathes
The lumber of my lungs distressed
As the wind now blows through me.

    tears like rain

(these tears like rain won't come again
today i promise it will stop to an end)

you promised you'll never want to see me cry
but what are these things coming out from my eyes
stuff your mouth with your own damn lies
i'm tired and sick thinking, i want to badly die

you can go ahead and break it more
just like how you did, what happened before
how you closed the relationship's door
how you made my heart hurt and sore

you promised and told me, you'll always be here
and how you'll be right by my side and always be near
that there's never going to be ever tears
how you told me i'll always be your dear

you just lied to me and make the rain fall down
when my smiles and laughter comes to a frown
making me fall right on the ground
forever you'll promise you'll never be around

so i'll stop with this nonsense you're making me crazy
someone hold me i'm falling, i feel a little dizzy
i hope i'll just never see you again, baby
and hope not to remember how you said "i love you" to me

(these tears like rain won't come again
today i promise it will stop to an end)

    Clouds

Dreamers drift among the floating sky
    Waving harsh reality good-bye
Breathing in new life and joy
    Finding more light to enjoy

Dance with me at a lavish ball
Let the pureness catch you entral
Swing the world like your playground
Let the clouds embrace you all around

    Rain [Lai]
    by мιѕѕ.нυggαвℓє ♥

    Calm beats of a heart
    From the skies they part
    In rain..
    Each drop drifts apart
    Forming stunning art
    In drains..
    Ground hit with small darts
    In streams, they depart
    Like pain..

    ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` ` `
The Lai consists of nine lines and two rhymes, giving the form aabaabaab.

Lines ending with the "a" rhyme are five syllables long. Lines ending with the "b" rhyme are two syllables long.

Wisdom of a Tree (rhyme royal)

If stories could be told by the trees of
what would they tell us? lovers? wars? great men?
hidden deep kisses only leaves may see?
immortal marks on skin left way back when?
a young boy left love for war way back then?
great leaders tell tales of the great young dead?
This is what the aged doleful trees have said.

its short, but here. i love nature poems too. i love writing them.
