I'm done. :] ...I really hope I've done this right, or I'll be completely embarresed.

    Resolute Soul ...Roadandtheradio

Bitter nightmares flash back infront of eyes,
Tip of tongue stung 'till poetry could stand,
Untold truth found new ways for expression,
Once pen and paper approached shaky hand.

Resolute soul wiped away languished tears,
Freckled face appeared on rosy red cheeks,
Solitary laughs bursted through clear pride,
    Showing emotions, sealing unknown leaks.

    Beautiful words transformed upon paper,
    Creating rhymes, imagery, flawless flow,
Ball point pen leaked amazing word usage,
For people to learn from, eventually grow.

    Cryptic meanings combined with memories,
Determination puts skilled mind to test,
Great thoughts ponder through many pages,
Never ceasing to put pen down for rest.

    Donna

Donna is a women who I'll never meet
But talking with her is a really big treat

She has plans for the future and let go of her past
Even though that didn't stick. this will last

After three kids, and one great girlfriend
She knows that her happiness will never end

She's always around on the Dumbest Game
Our conversations are always interesting, never lame

She's a great poet and a wonderful girl
Even though we're not on the same side of the world

    ~~Ciao

** donna: =] you were fun to write about! *hugs*

Helping people through their pain and tears,
with wisdom way beyond Your years.
    Always giving great advice,
I don't know You, but You seem really nice.

Going through problems of Your own,
but letting others know they're not alone.
Yes for sure, I don't know You,
however You come across as sincere and true.

Excellent poems and some lyrics too,
so many emotions always shining through.
Many different styles always written so well,
Such a talented poet, this is easy to tell.

A friend may have written more about You,
this is from an outsiders point of view.
As a poet You've been truly blessed,
As a genuine, caring person You are one of the best.

[Hope that's Ok.. I hope You like it Lush.Fcuk :}]

    Inside Your Mind [For Luanne]
    By: Jeannie

Inside your mind, the beauty lies
In words that spill out on the page
Of love and laughter, heart and soul
They fall so lucid, with such grace.

Inside your mind are words you write
To ease the hurt of love's embrace
To send your thoughts out of your soul
In hopes that pain can be erased.

Inside your mind, we wish to linger
To feel the comfort of your thoughts
As we pass among the pages
And see the depths your write has brought.

Inside your mind, you pull so freely
The dreams that fill your loving soul
And as you sit in sweet revelry
From a pen, your feelings flow.

    A constant recollection of
    The memories inside your mind
    Enchanted by life's mysteries
With a touch of eloquence combined.

    Truest Lies.

T he ink scribbles onto pieces of tattered paper
R usted with memories of the past,
U ndone between the lines of scarlet and ivory.
E legance is ignored - words shout out.
S top! she whispers under her breath
T ainting the words in her heart with ink.

L ies are told, the truth behold - - she must believe,
I n you, she believes in you and me.
E very word spared, is a person short of breath,
S houting to the world - - she longs to be heard.

~His sweet poems~ (For Gary Jurechka)
    by Melissa

    With bare, unthorned hands
he scraped my little bubblegum heart
off the grounds of becoming something

    unrecognizable

    then carefully placed
    the dying beat
of my own pink fleshy existence
in the palm of his poem

    Lines so familiar
    to the ones I own
    mend the scratches
    upon thine knees
    of prayer's left unanswered

    Now solitude
    doesn't feel so alone

    almost understood
    in a sense of understanding
    self's need to be wordless
    and appreciated by a stranger
    who knows nothing more
    than the strangeness
    of his own existence
in a world that seems fictional

    without poetry

    Sluvious, An Ode to Greatness

Oh! Sluvious! I fear this ode to your impeccable tenacity
will be far too extravegant for your humble heart
But, I must Praise the Great Prophet of the Pessimistic Souls
of those not yet well known enough to be truly damned
The Alter-ego of the one who would lead the poets to a brave new world
    Of imagination and clarity
If not for having been born with a crippling tendency for running into walls
But being a great man, you do not deny these faults
but rise above them to rise above us
And crush others with your mighty God-like powers
Oh! Sluvious! Save us from the throws of such pretense and heartache
that plagues any who dare to pick up the pen and write
For we are creative minds, and like all creative minds
    we must be slapped down
by your stark, unwavering, unapologetic objectivity
that cuts through the soft fatherlyness
    of your alter-ego with a razor-sharp wit
on the cutting edge of genius and insanity
the heart of a true poet
mixed with boiling hot tea and a bit of whiskey
    for flavor

The Heart is the Door to True Beauty
    .............. { For Jeannie } ..............

Eyes many say, are the windows to the soul
happiness and sadness seen deep within.
Yet the heart is the door to this lady's
    true beauty.

Poetic words bloom gently, nourished with
caressing love that flows from her pen of life.
Tattoo ink that has been embedded deep
    within my heart.

Many times I have wondered if there will
ever come a time, our paths in life will meet.
Will she speak as I have imagined
    gentle and soft.

The voice of a caring, loving mother
    released preciously through verse.
As the door to her heart is always
    lovingly open.

And one peek inside was all it took
to see the beauty that lay within.
Heart of a wonderful lady, I call
    my friend.

    An Angel with no wings

There’s been many a night where I’ll just sit and cry
Wishing she had wings and could magically fly
Just to pop in and say, “Chelsey wipe your eyes,
I’m here with you in spirit and hear your prayers to the skies”

Now I know she wasn’t here in my diaper days
She didn’t watch me on the court or in my Christmas plays
We’ve never stayed up late and watched the stars glaze
We’ve never been in a picture together or went on vaca’s

But I call her my sister, I call her my sunshine
She’s been by my side for quite some time
She’s given me advice; yes she’s kept me in line
And if you asked how our friendship is, I’d say just fine

I believe she is an angel; God just didn’t give her wings
So she is where she is, doing her own thing
There’s many a day where I just sit on my tire swing
Wishing she could fly here so we could go on sister outings

I admire this angel of whom I’ve gained much love for
I’ll be by her side forever that is what I swore
I’m so happy she’s not for sale sitting in a store
Because I’ve waited to have a sister I could keep forevermore

She’s an angel with no wings and that’s ok with me
I’ve accepted the fact my sister lives across the seas
But in a couple years from now my face will shine with glee
Because I’ll be on an airplane to see her, and the airplane has wings
