So this is like many of my other contests. You have 2 days to complete this poem... October 21st... to complete a poem. but this time there is no reserving. No given Titles, ect.

Rules
1- Dark... Sad... Happy... Love... Nature... what ever
2- You have until October 21st to finish it (this date may be changed
3- NO PROFANITY!
4- MUST be at least 20 lines. any poem under 20 lines will be exlcuded from the contest... with a give or take 2... (if you have 18 or 19 lines, and it fits well.. then i will still accept it.)
5- Has to be New!?!?!
6- Have Fun

HINT!!! I have come to realize that some people like to tell what there poem is about after.. but i prefer not to no exactly... i prefer to come up with my own thoughts about the poem.. instead of being told what i am reading..

The End of the World

The heavens wither at the touch of my hand,
Gods cry out, falling to my every command.
Thunderous applauds rupture the land,
Gods fall, crying to my command.

Twenty-thousand armies dance across the soil,
Over a puzzling decision they must toil.
Protecting their Gods' dashing royal;
Wonderous decisions they must toil.

Hitting the ground in rumorus praise,
Laughing about in mysterious ways.
Glancing around for these broken days,
For about mysterious laughs of simple ways.

One by one, deathly armies gladly take,
What was never theirs in this ending wake.
Yet, still they steal for their Gods' sake,
Never was it theirs in this ending wake.

The world crumbles, piece by piece,
The never ending love of Heaven cease.
The Gods of armies stand by a crease,
Of Heavens' end, the love will cease.

The Proposal

A bottle of bubbly, a bright starry night,
twinkling reflections on the ocean from the gorgeous moonlight.
Only the sound of the waves lapping on the shore,
I wish this perfect night could last forever more.

Palm trees to my left, my sweetheart to my right,
holding hands and cherishing this beautiful night.
I lay down a blanket in the soft, fine sand,
and place a champagne glass in my sweethearts hand.

I slowly crouch down to get on one knee,
offer her the ring with the words, 'Will You marry me?'
She slowly starts to smile with a twinkle in her eye,
as I nervously await her life changing reply.

Her answer of 'yes', makes my heart want to sing,
I place on her finger a white gold, engagement ring.
The bubbly I open and we toast Our sweet love,
we lay down on the blanket, watching the stars up above.

I look into her eyes and I tenderly kiss her,
'I love You my darling,' I quietly whisper.
She sweetly replies, 'I love You too,'
and one day this will all come true.

Unknown

she cries her eyes out
wanting, waiting everso patiently
for a prince to rescue her,
from this isolated,insanity.

but her pain is unknown.
never seen -she is
never heard- she is.
her cries are muffled,
by the facade of lies
her alter ego has weaved.

she sits alone weeping,
dreaming
of this prince she needs
Tall, pale, and
with many a scar on his face..
he will slay her demons.
the demons which are haunting her,
gnawing at her,
Killing her.

in her dreams she lives,
roams free of these chains of deciet.
she wanders the mountains of love,
happiness, lust, joy and friendship.
then she wakes-

still in this pitch balck room.
her self has dimmed the lights.,
her face cant be seen, too many scars,
not beautiful at all..

so her pain is unknown, her cries are ignored.
adn she waits..
for this prince that will never come.
she wakes, from a nightmare..
in the room..

she will never be free.

the other self has taken control
has taken revenge, for the pain she was inflicted upon.
so she lives, within this girl's dreams.

and This pain is known..
but only to the girl-
her prince that will never come-
because he lives within.

and she will never be free.

Creepy Crawly

I had a terrible,
horrendous fright...
There is no doubt,
it was a sight!

The tiny hairs on my arms,
were crazy as can be...
Which had my urges,
telling me... flee flee!

Without wasting a second
I bolted like lightening...
Making this situation,
my most frightening!

A couple of screams,
some hallacious moves later...
I was ready to take on,
even the world's largest gator!

Releasing a few cuss words,
then talking all bad...
Had my blood go from cold,
to hot fiery mad!

Stood there thinking,
"Yeah I'm not scared no more!"
As I am hovering...
over by the door!

But the slightest move
of this unbearable creature...
Sent me back over the edge,
like an everyday teacher!

Knowing what needs to happen next,
is easier said than done...
I don't want to harm this fellow,
I just want to run run run!

Oh, look at that pretty girl
With the punk rock attitude
And a shaken world
She has on her black dress
To remove her past
She tries the best
She hates her mom, she hates her dad
Cause they both act like the bottles
All they ever had

Look, she can smile
Although those beatings
Kept her closed for awhile
I'm guessing she's remembering
Her plans of escape
While their slumbering

A memory of our heart's desire
Upon the mist of dreams we saw

The inkling of a distant thought

hey sorry i havnt gotten around to the results. ive been having final exams for the last 2 weeks and havnt been on the computer much. i will get them in a soon as possible i was just coming on to say sry for not getting them in yet.
