    Hello!
I really need some major help.
I have been writing poetry for a very long time because I love it. I don't think there is anything more in this world that I would rather do. I have a lot of problems with my writing though. It seems like it is never good enough. So I am truly interested in learning how to improve my poetry. Don't get me wrong! Before I joined this site I only thought that it was one way to write poetry and that was rhyming, but after joining I was quick to learn differently. I have read a lot of poets, poetry on this site that I deeply admire. Some I don't leave comments for I just vote, because I wouldn't know how to begin expressing how I felt after reading their poetry. So I ask someone to please help me! I am really in need.

    Thank you!

“He's right. Rhymes like these make you want to die, and then die in the afterlife:

    tears/years

    life/strife/knife

    love/above/dove”
Since Stevie Nicks has already made millions writing poetic song lyrics such as ”Landslide” that features these lines “Mirror in the sky what is love? Can the child within my heart rise above? Maybe she should try a real challenge and please the critics on this site

I tried something new for a change. A Haiku poem.
I don't know if it was any good, but I did my best. Is there anymore suggestions.

but what if a bunch of rhymes come from the heart??

i have no poems that are free verse.

i do however agree A LOT with the lame rhymes. i never wanna hear crimson tears/rain again, i don't want to know about blood on a blade, i don't want to hear anymore forced rhymes. =P
