does it happen to anyone else

i'll be sitting here just stairing into space and then all the sudden i feel wierd so i start writing things that come to mind and then all the sudden i have an awsome poem ok but if i try to wright the poem it sucks? does that happen with you

Write the poem, no matter what.It is never as good as it is in your mind-sometimes we just can't find the right words.But as long as the emotion and meaning are captured, the poem can always be rewritten and revised over and over until it becomes what we want it to be-that is the beauty of writing and creation.But it is rare that a first draft is perfect-rewriting and revising is the key to creating the feeling, the emotion, the meaning, the thought that we truly want to express.And for every good poem we write there are a few bad ones.Just keep writing.
