    You won't lose your mom. She may not be in the same room as you for a while, but she's still just a phone call away. Most loving parents try to understand their children and do what's best for them. They're probably understand it if you chouse to stay with one parent and not the other because you feel you can relate to them more about personal stuff, or because that's where your friends are...

    The world's not going to end, and although there may be some more distance inbetween you and your parent(s), they'll still be there, and they'll still care. Still, keep in mind that this is a rough time for them as well.
