Do you know if its true that in England they call Indians Asians?

My girlfriend is trravelling over there and told me this I asked her what do they call Asians...Asians apparently...

Can anyone confirm or deny this rumour???

Yup we call Indians from India asians but not the American Indians, we just call them American Indians lol

I have a friend who i call canasian because she's half asian and half canadian. I myself am italian and mexican.

I work with a lot of Asians and people from Pakistan, we call them Asians not Indians. As for calling everyone with dark skin "terrorists" you obviously live in a small world, sure some people do associate some people with dark skin(ie Indians and Pakistani's as terrorists but not everyone here in the UK does).
