You said you really love the guy you're with right? Well I hate to say this but I have to agree with TC, that wouldn't be too fair to the guy you've been going out with for 5 months. By dumping you're saying that you don't love him as much as this new guy, and if you say that to a guy after 5 months, you're going to break his heart, especially if he really loves you.
