What's the Meaning Behind Your Name?

Well yeah, the title is pretty self-explainatory but I want to know how and why you chose your site name? Like for mine, I believe it describes me pretty well so I chose it.
And if you used your real name for this site, maybe you can choose your sn or w/e

My name is Beverly which means Beaver Meadows...Its just a nick name that stuck with me.

i chose broken tears cuz i thought it sounded really awesome and its kinda a cool name!! so i took it b4 ne one else cud... lol.. hehe!!

mine is actually the title of a song. part of the lyrics are:

"it's so hard to get around in a six foot town when you're ten feet tall, everything is so small, i'm always bumpin my head, i'm way too long for the beds...."

and i guess thats just how i feel, that i'm stuck where i'm at; school, friends, family, a hick town. i want to get out or at least be able to do what i want, but i can't because everyone holds me back. and no, my name has nothing to do with my height either, actually i'm pretty short.

Alysse, its just my name. Though it is actually spelt Alice which means kinda and noble...pfft! I reckon Alysse looks waaay better then Alice, more elegant too!

Trincy is my name... And i don't know what it means... When people used to ask what it means I had no answer. Finally i found my own meaning and i thought it is kind of funny. It's Tree-in-sea (sounds like Trincy, don't it?)....

Well Tree cann't exist in sea...
So my explanation was i can acheive the impossible :@)
And its hard to be stable in sea.. the roots has to be very strong and have to grow deep... And its hard to exist in salt water .....it may get rotten very soon... there's lot of difficulties to survive..

Whoa... all the responses were awesome... you can learn alot from a person by just looking at thier name. As for people who used thier real names... maybe you can explain a pen name you use. Don't want to exclude any1 now ;-)

Well my name used to be a naughty word so it was changed to this by the site, it was suppost to be about my feelings but i find it highly ironic that my name was changed to Cantchangeme

hehe, I got the chance to choose my name :D I think I liked the sound of it "Allen" :) and later when I looked it up it mean harmony and friendly... which is me :D

my real name means butterfly (if you know it, don't tell anyone!!!) i used victoria cuz that's what i was supposed to be named anyways.

i think my parents or grandfather changed it last minute. my dad said he's ex's name was victoria. but i like the sound of it. my nicknames on other sites- victoria or tori also.

Well, I used my real name, but I have no idea why. Anyway, Amy means "loved one" or "beloved". My nickname some friends call me is "Aims" but just cuz it's short for Amy. Also, a lot of people call me "Sweetie" but my friend Jolene gave me reason as to why she does.. she said she calls me Sweetie cuz I'm so sweet and loving. My answers aren't all that funny or interesting... I sorry.
Oh, and also, my sn for AIM and MSN and my current e-mail address is ismene86... and ismene is from a play called "Antigone"... and Ismene is the name of her sister. Anyway, I was having trouble thinking of a good screen name, so my old BEST friend/boyfriend (no ex-boyfriend :( ) was reading the play and said, "okay, pick Antigone or Ismene" so I picked Ismene because I thought it sounded cooler.. and 86 because that's my birthday year. (btw, I dunno if I spelled Antigone right.. I can't remember the correct spelling... lol)
