I've been asked this before by people so I thought I'd bring it up here. Do you think that masturbation is an act of desperation?? Just curious to see people's responses, I dont mean to offend anyone with the question

I dont see it as a act of desperation.Everyone has urges and if u dotn have someone special in ur life in to which express ur urges well hey i guess u gott a take care of buisness solo lol.Its no big deal im sure eveyone has atleast once.

I can't figure out how some ppl dont masturbate. That's really weird to me. There's a guy I work with who's 27 and he just lost his virginity. If you seen him in person, you be like "No F**kin way!". That part isn't as strange as him telling everyone that he never masturbated..EVER!!:p He's not the type to lie either.

Masturbation in no way is a sign of desperation. It is a natural part of life.

masterubation is not harmful (to the comment above mine) actully its healthy do you read? Anyways masterbation is not a sign of desperation its a sign of hormones running through your body. Its ok to act upon the urge because its something we all must try. If you don't understand your own body how can somebody else touch it the way you LOVE it?

Masturbation is totally normal. Probably not everyone has done it but I'm guessing a BIG percentage of people have. Its healthy. Don't be embarrassed about it. It helps you understand your body better and can keep you from having sex and it feels good. Trust Me!

It's not an act of desperation. It's an act of necessity. :-) I do it when I need to relieve some stress.

There really isn't much to say about masturbation except that it is part of growing up. Just don't do it too much or you could in the long-run, potentially damage ur genitals. That's my advice, plain and simple lol. (8:)

i once asked my ex about it and he said that it's just a natural urge. you have to do it otherwise you'll have wetdreams. i think it's different for every guy though because my brother said that he's never masturbated (i didnt ask him if he did or not lol) and he's 17 and not one to lie. i've never masturbated myself though.
