I would like to make a complaint.

On some mods running this site/chat. Who would I talk to that will handle this in a mature and respectful way? Knowing Janis is away, and I don't know about Dainz.

    Thank you.

I would air your complaint here for everyone to see in a calm, open and honest manner.

Alright, well first off....I have been going to the chat recently for only a couple days now and noticed some new chat mods...at least as they claim.

I have quite a few of print screened copies of the chat I caught a mod and some chat users abusing the rules, and when I pointed it out I got bashed and "kicked".

The other thing is, there is a user in the chat room who found the ability to kick people when he is not a moderator and is abusing it and threatening people with it, mostly me...when I never done anything to anyone. All I've been doing is pointing out the flaws and how it is unfair that the chat mods favour his friends instead of everyone else fairly.

Earlier in the chat, I was having a conversation with another user about drugs. We weren't using foul language or anything offensive. Just because some friends of the mods didn't want to talk about it, they were telling ItalianStallion to kick us. I told Joe(ItalianStallion) it was not fair, and that if they don't want to read it, to go in the other chat.

I told everyone in the chat I was going to make a complaint about it to the admins, and to quote Joe: "They won't do anything. Second, I'm the best mod and they can't afford to lose me."

To quote the user who found the power to kick people, but is not a mod: "And I talk to Dainz. I would tell him you're lying. =]"

The mods for the most part actually do a good job. With that said anywhere there is a human being there is going to be mistakes made.

When there are more than one in any situation then not everyone is going to be happy with the decision made on any part.

I hope that things can be worked out without dragging the forums down any further.

Abuse in the chat room is something that has risen steadily over the last few months. People are ignoring the rules completely, abusing the priviledges given to them and abusing the trust put in them by others.

We all know the source of this problem and the only way it is going to stop is by people growing up.

Personally I would advise you to find another poetry site. This place is not what it once was. It has degenerated into something of a joke because of one person and their inability to act in the manner they know is right.

I'll send you a private message containing a couple of sites that I have been told about that do not put up with such immaturity and potentially illegal behaviour.

Sure thing, Ken. I have no problem not emailing you ever again. But you'll be back, don't try and deny it. You need the validation and attention too much to stay away.

Mostly what I have to say is, ItalianStallion is abusing his power and always has since he's been a mod. He doesn't kick his "friends" and he swears too, yet when other people do, he tells them to watch their language, yet just because he's a mod, he can bend the rules?? This is completely unfair.

And to ItalianStallion: I can take a joke. I have a sense of humour, but when it's to the point where you're mostly picking on me when I'm being the most mature one there, and where you ALLOW this Ken kid to boot me off the chat THREE times, and you don't do anything to him? Well, what else is there to say..

"He doesn't kick his "friends" and he swears too.."

^^ Well I do kick my "Friends" I don't favor anyone.

Second, When have I ever used profanity? Please show me some proof, and if I have, I have been told by another Mod or I have said I was sorry. After all everyone is human, Human's make mistakes.

"I can take a joke. I have a sense of humour, but when it's to the point where you're mostly picking on me when I'm being the most mature one there..."

^^Ok, first of all I don't single anyone out. And If I recall you came to me telling me of a problem, I told you I'd take care of it.

Second, I have done my Job from day one, no if's and's or but's. I have always done my job weather you or another member think I am being unfair, well I can't decide that, for that is your own opinion.

Third, as for Ken, You don't know it was Ken, I don't know it was Ken, it could of been anyone. As for what he was say to you, yes I did repremand him in PM, so don't tell me I don't do my Job.

You don't like my Moding, you don't like me, then tell Janis or Dainz, I have nothing to hide, I do my Job and that is all.

    Ciao, Joe

Whatever you say. I have proof about what I'm talking about it. But it's an image of the chat, so how am I supposed to post it here?

"He doesn't kick his "friends" and he swears too.."

    ^^^

You're wrong. I'm Joe's "friend" and he 'kicked' me.

And you're one of the users telling Joe to kick me just because I pointed out that he was swearing and spamming the chat by repeating words over and over again.

I told Joe to kick you? I can't seem to remember that.

^^ Trusting underage children is part of the problem.

It is due to the trust and freedom that our children are given that allows pedophiles to harm them.

How often do you hear about another child being raped, murdered, kidnapped, tortured, molested, etc... from someone that they met online?

There are many individuals (men and women) out there lurking at a chance to take advantage of our children.

I am a parent and I know that yes, I trust my children, but I still keep a VERY CLOSE eye on their activities and who they are conversing with.

Also, just because you trust your children does not mean that they will not make a mistake or the wrong decision and it deff. does not mean that you can trust everyone else on the internet.

Not to sound rude, but as Bob said give us a well thought out and mature answer.

I appreciate all the efforts to keep this site clean and one that I can allow my children on. I know that if anything goes on here then I will be notified about it!

As they old saying goes it takes a village to raise a child and look at this as your village with plenty of mommies and daddies around to run off someone that we might even suspect being a threat to you.

Ok, Bri, Britt, if you want to carry this convo out please do so via email, thank you.

As for the original content of this thread this is way off topic.
