So there's this guy I really like. Ha! Way to start a forum post ... okay, well anyways ... Things were going really great, but I got scared because he got really close to me, and when people get too close to me, they tend to pull away, so I told him that. I told him I was afraid and that I needed to slow down. I guess he didn't respect it because he didn't talk to me for two weeks, and then he decided to tell me that I just needed to "move on this time", and "look on the bright side, because so far he's just another person who's left me." ... I don't really know where there's good in that, but uhh, okay? Anways, basically all I want to know is what I should do. I want to tell him how I feel, and let him know how badly he hurt me. He's the only person who's ever acted as a true friend to me, and who never judged me. I'm lost without him, and I don't care if we're not together, I just need him to be a part of my life ... How do I get him to notice me when he hardly acknowledges my existance?? Any suggestions ...?!?! |

Perhaps, he may have wanted to have an intimate relationship, which is why "he got really close to me(you)" and so, when you said you had to slow down, somehow that hurted his feelings and that's why he didn't talk to you for so long because he didn't know how to react or cope. Then finally, when he came to you and said you have to "move on this time", he may have said it because he still cares about you and doesn't want you to feel bad about telling him "to slow down". He may think you deserve someone better than him. This can sort of explain why he was so nice when he siad "look on the bright side...". |
