I'm a bit irritated now...

I just spent almost an hour coming up w/ the perfect toast for my sister-in-law's wedding...and I went to hit send after typing it out and getting it PERFECT!!! And I was told to log in...in doing so I lost it!!! So whatever its gone now, and it wasn't written anywhere else, so that's my fault I guess...just chapped my a@# that its gone now. I'm done venting. Thank You....:)

Awww I'm so sorry hun! That really stinks!!!

It is a result of the shortened log-in times since the server for this site was changed. Problems like that will be happening until the log-in time is reset and extended.

If something that you are going to post on this site is going to require more than a couple minutes to compose, it's always best to do it in a word processor and save it, then copy and paste it here.

I am so sorry that you lost your project...but it is ALWAYS best to save your stuff elsewhere.

It has been said in several different threads to compose your poems, etc.. on your computer's word processor and then copy and paste it here. I also find that my word processor, Word2000, has a better spell/grammar checker than the site's spell checker.

Well I normally write my poems out on paper...just old fashioned...don't get me wrong, I love my computer, but there's something about actually WRITING it out by hand is theraputic for me...anyhoo, I was just sitting here and it was coming to me, then I changed my line of thought and whatever. And when all was perfect and done...it was never to be seen again....but alas, I shall try again...ON PAPER!! :) Its okay, I've got a year to write it, just was in the mood for it last night...thanx all!! I'll keep your ideas in mind next time!
