Request!Don't rate 1 to any poem u read!!!

i request to all the members on this site not to rate any poem that they read 1.The poems that u read is not just a collection of words,its abt the feelings of a person who is trying to find some comfort through his/her poems...So respect thier feelings...I'm not saying that everyone should rate 5 to whatever poems they read but don't u also think no poem deserves to be rated one....

Ditto...I really just look at the 1 as the bottom. And when I rate a 5 I think, this poem was SOOO much better than a 1!! And I'm going to prove it! I think people that are catty and nasty rate poems a 1, no one really appreciates poetry really rates a 1. Too much is involved in the read than if you like the poet or not. And its easy to want to reciprocate the 1 if someone does it to you out of spite.

There have been a couple of times that I found a poem so intentionally offensive and outrageous that it deserved a 1. But that is a rarity.

Normally if I read a poem I don't enjoy, I simply don't rate it. And besides, the fact that a particular poem's theme, content or style doesn't appeal to me doesn't mean that there aren't many other people with different preferences who would enjoy it.
