Best friend forgot my b'day =(

my best friend forgot my birthday the other day..it was my 16th and it meant alot to me...she moved away from me a few years ago, at first we were close but now were drifting apart...mainly cause she has new friends and a boyfriend...i miss her so much but im not sure if our friendship can last any longer...has anyone been in this position??

The sad part about friendships, is that some come to an end. I an't say that i've been in you position because my best friend who moved away, is still my be st friend. We still see eachother, and always remeber eachothers birthday. Maybe we don't see as much of one another as we used to, but we still manage. If she really was a true friend, the distance between you wouldn't matter. I don't know what else to tell you. I think it was wrong she forgot your b-day. Maybe you should talk to her, and tell her how you feel. Ask her if your friendship even matters anymore.

oh ..i have experienced this..just this past few days...last week was my bday...and my bestfriend forgot it...she didn't even wish me anything...and then...she texted me the day after my bday, and warned me not to forget her bday by next month....quite devastating,but i tried to get rid of it,and i just reminded her...so i said ''bestfriend i dont forget your bday,i know it'll be by next month......but look at it.yesterday was my bday,but i dont know what happened.im sure you forgot it".....but anyway, that went fine with me...and she asked apology... still we're friends... :)

i asked my friend about it the other day and she said sorry...were still friends but we seem a little further apart than what we were before...neways thank you for the advice
