can you make someone fall in love

Hey guys and gals,
I was wondering if someone can actually fall in love with you after a bad experience with an ex.The reason im asking is because the man i fell in love with got burned really bad from his last relationship.The girl broke up with him telling him that he was too boring and two months later married another man.I think he is skeptical about every girl he meets now.When we met he said he was not looking to get into a serious relationship soon but its been 3 months now and his told me he likes me but he keeps things casual.He only calls me like 2 times a week and sees me like once every two weeks.I recently feel him distant.Should i stick around and keep trying or ask him where i stand?Is there hope for me?im 21 and his 38 by the way.

Love is love. If you love this man, then you should stick by him. Even if you never get him, you will have the pure satisfaction that you were there for him when he most needed it.

Also, being a female yourself, you may help him be more trusting in women again.

if you love this man like you say you do then yeah stick by him!
he got hurt pretty badly by siunds of it.... so you cant blame him for getting scared when he knows he is feeling for you too!!!! so he backs off.... its easier to ran away from someone when you start to care about them than stand infornt of them and face that fear of hurt again.. its easier to run so if he is running now you should go catch him and not let him!

you gotta kepp hold of him... and tell him you care bout him and youll wait for him... you put the ball in his court... let him take the leads and let him act on things when he is really... you gotta be paitent with him!!! he just gotta let himself trust you an like that old saying "once biten twice shy" SO talk to him and maybe you caould call him!!!!!

The only reason that we fall down is to remind us where we are..that's what an old friend used to tell me i think that there is hope for grandpa to date...i'm jus kiddin 38 is an age difference...but that's not the point the point is there is hope..it gonna cost an arm and a leg for it..he got screwed over on his last 1 so if ya stick around and do alittle bloodwork with this relationship..grandpa should be up an ready to go for round 2...anyway hit me back..tell me how it goes...
