I Think It's Best If We Just Stay Friends.

How Many Of Us Have Heard That Or Said At Least Once In Life?

I Said It To This Guy A Few Weeks Ago, But I Truly Meant It, I Didn't Feel The Same Way He Did. ( He Claimed He Loved Me) But I Do Love Him As A Best Friend, I Couldn't Imagine Us Not Being As Close As We Are, I Tell Him Everything.

Yet I Think, He Just Thinks Im Pitying Him, And That In A Month Or So, Ill Stop Feeling Sorry For Him, How Do I Let Him Know That I Am Here To Stay. It Scares Me That Because Of My Decision He Will Turn Away.

The only advice I can give is always stay by his side and prove him wrong. Keep telling him you'll be there for him, and hopefully, with much persausion, he'll listen.

i think you should just treat him like you always did, not changing a thing, because if you change even a little of how you act towards him, he will start doubting your friendship all over again. i dont know if he will be able to change his feelings towards you, but he might be able to live with them once he realizes that you arent going anywhere.

im writing this because i honestlycare. continue to be friends with him just dont make it like the movie just friends. even thought they finally got together just do it now be4 it's to late and tell him all the time how much u care bout him. but dont over due and be like
You: hey ya i care about you a lot
Him: cool, so ya we should all go 2 the mall 2day
You: i kno and did i mention that i really care about you?
Him: umm... ya a lot.
etc., he'll just get weirded out

If he actually does love you don't expect his feelings to go away anytime soon, and things will probably be different when you're with him. He's not going to be able to stop loving you just because you told him you don't love him back, but at the same time you shouldn't be too worried about him making another pass on you because I'm sure he would rather live with just being friends rather than nothing at all (the problem is he might be afraid of pushing you away now and not be near as close as he used to, but it will be because he doesn't want to lose you all together... I know this from experience)
