He doesn't think it will work...help!

I have been friends with this guy for a little under a year and he's pretty cool. Put the problem is he's not interested in me. I try to distance myself from him knowing it won't work out but sometimes I can't help it. I asked him if he ever though of there being more than jsut friendship between us and he said he did for about 2 weeks then he realized it would not work out and would just end in tears. I don't know how I'm supposed to take this. Please help.

well lets see here there are 2 ways to take this..either you can take his word for it..which would leave you wondering...what if..or you can make something happen and have him take a shot in the dark with ya..and see where it goes..you never know until you try..or i forgot there are 3 ways...and if neither of those work...i'll date you..lol i don't know what you look like but i'll take a shot in the dark with ya..lol hit me back...peace
