Is it a sign of interest or his just possesive?

Well ive been seeing this guy for 3 months now.At first i was showing more interest in him than he would.Than i stopped and he actually started calling and asking to see me.But there are many times where i feel that he questions everything i do or say.Like he doesnt trust me.For example:

1:Once i forgot that my phone was on vibrate and he noticed and very suspicioulsy asked "why is your phone ringer off? I told him that i forgot i had it on vibrate but he looked at me with a little smile like i was lying.

2:Than he asked me if i had gone to work that day.I said yes. He said "well on the way to the gym i didnt see your car there" (The gym is right by my work by the way). I told him that i park my car where it is not visible which is true.

3:Than he asks me how many guys hit on me at work and how often.

This guy and I aren't bf and gf even though i would love to take it to the next level but he hasn't mention anything along those lines. He confuses me sometimes with all these questions. Is he asking all of these questions to see if im real?..I know he has gotten burned before badly. So guys and gals is this a sign that he is taking interest in me or is he just a control freak?

Hmm.. I guess it could be a little bit of both. Sometimes, like the car thing, guys will just say stuff because they notice it, like something to talk about, or just something random. When he smiles at you like that, he could've been just been teasing you or something.. guys can be wierd sometimes lol. But maybe overall he's just getting to know you and your little quirks. It may also to see if you're honest. Because he's been "burned" before, he just wants to know if you'll be honest with him, and he may be taking it slow because he doesn't want to get hurt again. But if you want to keep him, let him decide when to become more than friends, if you still want to. Let him take his time and you won't scare him off, but if he's taking to long for you then maybe he just wants to be friends. Well, that's just my opinion. But at the same time if you don't feel right about seeing this guy or the way he's acting around you and talking to you, then talk to him about it. Like "why do you always ask me these questions? It's like you don't trust me or something." If you still don't feel comfortable with it, then take a breather.

I have to agree with Doug on this one. He sounds very controlling and possessive. I have been in that kind of relationship, and it is better to run from it while you can rather than go into it and have troubles getting out of it. My sister is in one right now and has been for 5 years and it gets harder on her every year. Find someone that you can actually have a relationship with hunn. Good luck.

My first piece of advice to you is not to ask for help on your matters of the heart on a site filled with very young teens. You're an adult, talk it out with HIM.

I still stand by what I said, but after thinking about it and reading Doug's post, I just want to advise you to be careful in everything you do.
