    Beauty And The Beast.

Oh, the story so wonderful. Yet, another lie.
Beauty and the beast..who would even try?
Her hair so magnificent, glowing in the night.
Her eyes so precious, just perfectly right.

Her body the luscious shape, of which he can not touch.
Her nose the best of them all, and the rest is just too much.
Roses wilting one by one, just as her thoughts of him.
He's the alcoholic who continues to sin and sin.

Oh, the story so wonderful. Yet, another lie.
Beauty and the beast.. who would even try?
She would never go for him, not in this day and age.
With his facades of kindness, hiding his very rage.

It's utterly disgusting, what he put her through.
To think she'd ever love someone quite like you.
He poked in her life, and put things in her mind..
Hid the ones he did not want her to find.

Oh, the story so wonderful. Yet, another lie.
Beauty and the beast.. who would even try?
Just another fairy tale, proven to be fake,
putting love in our mind, we can not make.

Pain and sadness come from this story,
because in reality this would get gory.
No beauty would take a humongous beast,
not even if she had to settle for the very least.

    :]

question...does it have to narrate the movie or can we just express what we like about it...or what? It's a great idea, but just wondering how you'd like it presented. Thanks!

    Peter Pan

Adventurous Wendy and two little boys
Living excitement through stories and plays
Never knowing of the boy in the dark
Watching from the light of the window bay

Then one night this mysterious young boy
Lost his shadow in the playroom of three
His fairy friend, Tinkerbell, was sent to find it
And though she did, could not set it free

And he made such a ruckus wrestling it down
He awoke the beautiful Wendy child
She sewed it back on with the least of pain,
But Tinkerbell didn't like her happy smile

Still Peter Pan, offered to take them away
To a place where rules did not apply
And seeing as Wendy was growing up fast
This was a chance that she couldn't deny

The boys had no problems with mermaids,
Lost boys, pirates, and a life free from warnings
So with pixie dust and happy thoughts
It was second star to the right and no stops till morning

Once there, it was full of excitement and fun
With Hook and Smee always ready to fight.
There was constant playing and childish games
The Lost Boys loved Wendy's stories at night.

But once Hook trapped Tinkerbell in his case,
And soon the Lost Boys, Wendy, and her brothers.
Peter Pan was soon to free them all and escape
And he tied up all the rascally others.

And Hook met up with his alligator friend
With a tick and a tock in his belly and eyes
That's what he got for messing with Peter Pan
Once again, Hook was left without his prize.

And Wendy knew for sure it was time to leave.
Her father and mother would miss them so.
And Peter Pan was so upset that she'd be gone,
But understood her deep desire to go.

For some children would need a Neverland,
Where growing up was merely a game,
But Wendy and her brothers craved a life
Where one day they'd make their own names,

So, on the pirate ship they flew over the town
And safely back to their own playroom,
Said goodbye to Peter Pan and Tinkerbell
Knowing on a normal life they'd resume.

And a for the few years left of childhood
They'd catch a glimpse of a shadow on the wall
And knowing inside exactly who it was
But turning to see no one at all

    Dumbo

    Dumbo was an elephant,
    cute but had big ears.
    Circus entertainers teased
    and caused him many tears.

    Just because He was different,
    He got treated bad.
For the sake of their amusement,
    they made Dumbo sad.

One day He found a barrel,
    inside He put his trunk.
    Little did He know,
that drink would get him drunk.

    Different coloured elephants,
    much to his surprise.
    Floating, dancing crazily,
    right before his eyes.

When He awoke the next day,
    unbelievably,
    He noticed He'd been sleeping,
    high up in a tree.

He wasn't sure how it happened,
    how He got so high.
It wasn't long before He realised,
He was special and could fly.

    Teasing cause him misery,
    brought so many fears.
He soon got back at everyone,
    by having magic ears.

All the times they teased him,
    laughed and made him cry.
He would get the last laugh,
when they realised He could fly.

    The circus now wants dumbo,
He's so much better by far,
    than all the other elephants,
    Dumbo truly is the star.

    Robin Hood [Thief of Hearts]
    As Told By Maid Marian
    By: Twisted Heart

Oh Robin Hood, I see you, yonder
Upon the edge of dark forest green
Upon your horse you sit so proudly
    In moonlight's caste, so serene.

My heart has found a home in you
Seek not the tempted fool of face
But stand and give to all beyond
The penance of thy love and grace.

King John has stole the faith of poor
His hands are full, the coins of gold
No food to eat, no clothes to wear
No home secure to fight the cold.

King Richard, is too far to see
The torment that has come to pass
And King John is [at this moment]
    Planning for a surprise attack.

So, sweet love, I beg you, please
Don't come to find my love tonight
Make haste into the dark forest green
And keep thee far from my sight.

Remember, love, I will find you
When King Richard's back in power
And though, I won't see your face
My heart will miss you every hour.

For just as surely as you saved us
With bow in hand, and arrow sharp
You tipped the seconds that was gave us
Pulled back the string and pierced my heart.

    King Of The Pridelands.

    King of the pridelands
    teaching the prince his ways
    His evil uncle always secretly
    Wishing their lives away.

    The evil uncle secretly
    Plans and plots
He sends the hyenas after his nephew
    Not caring if he rots.

    The King of the pridelands
    Is strong and proud
    He sends those hyenas running
    With a roar so loud.

The King of the pridelands says how disappointed
He is in the young prince
And tells him how the great kings
Have been in the stars always and forever since.

The King and Prince go home
    Closer than before
    But the evil uncle
    Plots even more.

    He's underhand and sneaky
    Tells the Great King lies
He causes his death by a stampede
And makes the young prince cry.

The evil uncle tells him the death is his fault
The Prince doesn't know what to do
And the evil Uncle spitefully asks
'What will your mother think of you?'

    The Prince runs away
    he is all alone
But he makes two new friends
With them he makes a home.

    They spend many a night
Staring up at the stars in the sky
    Unknown to his best friends
    The King still cries.

He plans to forget his past
To live his life out there
    He doesn't know that
    His family still care.

One of his friends is attacked one day
The Prince fights and tries to chase the lioness away.

The lioness pins him to the floor
And the fight comes to an end
    The Prince gasps in shock
As he realises the lioness was once his best friend.

'Nala?' He cries out in shock
    And her eyes open wide
She tells him how bad things are back home
Ands that everyone thinks he died.

    The Prince is in shock
When she tells him the hyenas rule the pride
    For his stolen childhood
    The prince silently cries.

She tries to make him go home
    To set the wrongs right
But he isn't ready to face the past
And takes off into the night.

On his travels he meets a wise old baboon
Who leads him to his father's spirt
After a few simple words his essence fades behind the moon.

The Prince is still not ready to go home
Until a few sharp words from the baboon
    Make him suddenly realize
He really must go home soon.

He takes off into the night
    Racing across the sand
    He is finally ready
    To reclaim his stolen land.

His friends realize he has gone
    Gone back to his home
    They set off after him
He no longer has to fight alone.

    The prince finally arrives
Just intime to see his uncle hit his mother
He thought his battles were over
But he has yet to face another.

    The prince tells his Uncle
    To get out and go
    The same words the Uncle
Said to him so long ago.

But the Uncle isn't giving up easy
And so they start to fight
With a fire burning beneath them
    With the flames so bright.

The Prince starts to lose the battle
And the Uncle whispers in his ear
'Here's my little secret-I killed Mufasa'
His words are spoken with a jeer.

    The Prince leaps upon him
    Realizing who's the murderer here
He orders Scar to tell the truth
And the Lion's eyes fill with fear.

    Scar finally tells the truth
And a firce fight breaks out
    There's lions fighting everywhere
Nala gives Simba's name a shout.

Simba and Scar continue to fight
It's a fight to the death
Simba heaves Scar over a cliff
He's about to take his dying breath.

    The hyenas advance upon him
They to were played for a fool
    Scar played a game
    But didn't know the rules.

They are all around him now
    Snarling at their old friend
    They jump upon him
And that's how that evil lion met his end.

    The battle is finally over
    Simba is finally home
And he takes his rightful place as King
On the top of that glourious throne.

If The Shoe Fits. [A Cinderella Tale]

Dressed in rags she kneeled down to wash the floor,
    As her wretched step sisters watched from the door;
"Make sure that floor shines nice and bright,
We're going to the town ball, we'll be back later tonight!"

With a tear in her eye, she scrubbed as hard as she could,
    For she knew, there was no place there for the misunderstood;
Dressed in rags - a servant would surely be turned away,
And they say; there is no place for her in an elegant soiree.

"Oh Deary me, pick yourself up off those dirty tiles,
Put down that old rag and replace those tears with a smile!"
She jumped up as fast as she could, "Who's there?"
"Don't be alarmed Darling, let's find you a dress to wear!"

With a flick of a wand, she was dressed in a silver gown,
    And on top of her head she wore a tiny tiara crown;
"A real lady would never go to a ball on foot, would she?
We need to find you a coach now, wouldn't you agree?"

A pumpkin off to the side was changed into a coach so nice,
And seven horses appeared in the place of seven mice.
"When the clock strikes midnight, the spell will run out."
Ran through her head as she looked around with doubt.

From the corner of a prince's eye he saw her standing there,
    Stopping his dance, he thanked her in this despair;
"Good evening my fair lady, care to join me outside?"
He asked politely as he swallowed all of his pride.

Under the moon and the stars he lightly took her hand,
    But she just stood there amazed - unable to understand;
"To dance with you, my love - would be an honor to bestow."
"Okay I will give you one dance, but then I really must go!"

The clock struck midnight as she pushed out of his grasp,
    "Wait!" He shouted as she pulled her arm out of his clasp;
Left behind on the ballroom stairs was one tiny shoe,
The prince held it tight, "Oh my Darling, I will find you!"

    To the ministers he did go, and of his love he admit;
"Don't give up until you find whose feet the slipper fits!"
    With only one girl left in town, the prince was distraught;
"A girl in rags was not the one!" her stepmother fought.

    Cinderella sat down upon the little wooden chair;
With all eyes set on her, everyone did stare,
A glass slipper sat in a ministers hand, "Your feet?"
As she lifted her foot up - her heart began to beat.

The shoe fit perfect and the crowd was taken aback,
    "Come with us" whispered a minister named Jack;
Standing before the prince was his bride, or lack thereof,
And later that evening, he'd marry his one true love.

ok hi im back, if it's alright i wrote one for Sleeping Beauty.

    Wondrous Slumber (Sleeping Beauty)

    Silent like the night,
    Soothing as the sea
    Far from her own sight
    Yet everyone can see
    She’s Sleeping Beauty.

    Lips redder than a rose
    Hair like a golden sun
    Sure as the wind blows
    It still can be undone
    Hope has not yet gone.

    Riding to the scene
    Fighting for her life
    Boy just turned nineteen
    Carries a large knife,
    Seeking the future queen.

But she is in his way,
    Blocking the only path.
    He does not run away,
Tries to destroy her wretched wrath
She has over longed her stay.

    Death has reached the land.
    But it has overjoyed
    Riding through the sand
    The evil is destroyed
Just like in a dream land.

To awake from her deep sleep
    A Princes’ kiss is fate
No more will they all weep
    No longer will she wait,
As she takes a breath in deep.

    Now beauty, elegance, and grace,
    Flow around her face.
    Evil left without a trace.

And now you all can see
No longer sleeping beauty is she.

Considering, i hand all the poems over to 3 people to be judged, i'm not biased and the poems get judged solely on the content, not on the writer, so in this case i guess you can do it on your other account if you'd like. The judges won't know, lol. I'm just handing over the poems =)
