Hey. I'm going to take a long shot, and try once again to stop this writer's block... Can I reserve ''Loving you this way''.

And one question, does it have to be happy and sappy? Or are you in for the broken hearted love stuff too?

It could be anything, sad, happy lasting love, first love, etc. as long as it is a love poem I don't care if it is sad or happy, etc.

Does one day reseves mean 24 hours since you said you want to reserve something or does it mean that it has to be in the same day you made the reserve? I'm asking because where I live it's 1 a.m. right now and I'm too tired to write anything, but I have some ideas about what I'm going to write about and yeah I'm just making sure that I'll still have my reserve when I wake up tomorrow =)

Now that twilight is breaking through

My heart wore armour until that day,
You entered my life and took it away.
I was weary at the start,
after some thought I gave You my heart.

more heartache and pain I just couldn't bear.
You told me You'd cherish it, keep it whole,
I went one step further and gave You my soul.

My thoughts and dreams were always of You,
as our love flourished my smile grew.

we made a promise to love forever.

Then one day it all went wrong,
I for You did not belong.
You took my heart that was once battered,
dropped it gently but it still got shattered.

Thinking for always we'd be together,
finding for the third time, love's not forever.
Taking back my soul to keep,
trying my hardest not to weep.

The pain in my heart, the tears in my eyes,
so unbearable and hard to disguise.
It will take some time but it will be alright,

Variety of tones and hues
Surrounded with white
Such mysterious sight...

Mirror without reflections
Of my flaws and imperfections
And if I'll dare to look within
I'll see thy love born not from sin.

Juicy tones I'd like to drink
Soft as oriental silk
And stained with honey milk...

Such alluring fruit of lust
Alike warm nights of august
And if I'll dare to touch and savor
I'll drown in this taste I adore.

Palette of black and silver
Hues that fade to amber
When morning becomes evening
As the sun goes down deceiving...

Delicate velvet waiting to be touched,
Caress thy skin or be in thy hands clutched
And if I'll dare to palpate this endless dark
I'll find that from it I don't want to part.

Beautiful creation – an angel sent from above
To wrap my eyes into his beauty and love,
To trap my senses with his delicate affection
And to keep me in his arms sheltered from rejection.

I've tried something different with this poem. I was aiming to describe something without mentioning what's the thing I'm describing (if that makes sense) So if you don't realize what I was talking about: first two stanzas are about eyes, next two about lips and the other two about hair. Hope you like it =)

Tears for you will fall gently from my face.
As I take the very last sweet embrace.
The feeling of your arms around me,
lift me in joy, so peacefully..
As I fade back to reality.

I ask you once again if you're sure.
Your reply is yes, and my tears pore..
For now I'm left broken and sore.

My heart was blocked from every guy.
You changed that, and I don't know why.

Eyes of An Angel {Double Lento}

Gold eyes stare rounded from a face above
Bold are the caressing words that leave
Mold did my mind to find this love
Sold is my heart to the one who believes

Composed are these eyes, like a dream
Transposed in gold and set to love
Supposed to be easy, this didn't seem
Expose my heart to this angel above

Forming a new adoration for these gentle eyes
Warming is this amazing golden stare
Storming through my mind I may defy
Informing you that this surely isn't fair

Crucify these golden eyes for they are my sin
Derive these piercing eyes from the story inside
Survive did my heart simply beat deep within
Arrive did my love for these angel eyes.

A Lento consists of two quatrains with a fixed rhyme scheme of abcb, defe as the second
and forth lines of each stanza must rhyme. To take it a step further, but not required, try
rhyming the first and third lines as well as the second and forth lines of each stanza in this
rhyming pattern: abab, cdcd. The fun part of this poem is thrown in here as all the FIRST
words of each verse should rhyme. There is no fixed syllable structure to the Lento, but
keeping a good, flowing rhythm is recommended.

For an added challenge, one may write a four-verse Lento and call it a Double Lento, or a
six-versed Lento to become a Triple Lento.
