scared of love...

I am scared to love so when it comes to a relationship I run...I guess I don't want relationships so I have sometimes boyfriends...but I seen what love can do...it seems so powerful I'm scared to challenge it...I've experienced alot of pain in my life and I don't think I would be able to handle the pain of love...plus all I've seen is guys who lie, cheat, and are jus plain asses and they guys that are actually good are takin...so if I begin a relationship I would think whats the point and I'd screw it up somehow...any advice on how to change?

Yes. Hun this is very natural and totaly normall. I was scared too because you know I didn't want to get hurt and beaten down because of a broken heart, but I met my guy. Once I met him, I can't even explain to you the feeling. One thing I have learned dating him for 8 months ((soon to be 9)) was that love isn't there if it's going to hurt. You may Love them but you aren't IN love. If you were In love with them, then something WILL happen. You'll find that one person that will complete your life when the time is right. He may not come to you in a few years maybe tomorow or next week. Just don't look for him, let him come to you. And when you find out more about him, you'll know that he also said that you found him. So techniqually ya'll were supose to be together. I have faith in you because I know you'll find that one person that will make you feel like you're the only one in the world. And I tell you, Love is powerful, but it's bittersweet. If you love him and you're in love with him, he feels the same way. Just give it time, live life while you can and don't worry about love, don't go steady with any guys. You'll know who to say "yes" to. Trust me, you'll just know when the time is right. Just date different guys, see who's out there flirt, and have fun. And I hope you find that person for you soon. Good Luck Hun!

just know that when the time is right the time is right.... and dont go around wanting it to happen and egging it on (even though you do want it to hapoen), it will just make your wait seem longer. ya never know, mr right could be someone you already know and never gave a chance. so that being said, be nice to ALL the guys around (lol) and just let time do its thang
