I had writers block for nearly 8 months.

Sometimes, it is emotions that help trigger you out of writers block. (Say you are depressed for some time, but things get better...ect.)

However, what I did to fix it was simply take an object and write about this object. Whether it was making a funny poem, a dark one, or simply describing, I wrote it. Most were thrown away, though. However, it'll get you back into the feeling of writing...Make sense? And remember, you can always go back and edit the poems when you are -out- of writers block. Hope that makes sense and helps a little. =] Good luck.

Writers block is hard to get out of but usually some feelings/ emotions or even a person trigger you to write a poem =]=]=]

Maybe you could get yourself around people who make you feel specific feelings and it will go from there? *just a suggestion*

go into the contests and enter a titles contest. if you still cant figure something out then...
when i am stuck i make a cup of hot chocolate and go over the ideas in my head.
i write a little blurb about what i am trying to get out.. sorta like a diary entry. and then from that i write my way outta writers block :)

In order to get over writer's block you just need to sit back and relax. Sit back and let everything that has ever happened to you flow out onto the paper. It doesn't matter if the poem isn't the greatest at first but you just have to keep working on it.

Find a random object such as an apple or a coffee and write an acrostic or a simple poem about it.
