Ok so this is my second poem contest.. Its basicaly going to go like this.

Two poets per title

*Have to Be named the Title
*Due date : Dec 1st or until all titles have been filled
*Must be original
*Length is optional

I Can’t Believe You

I can’t believe you; after all we’ve done,
You go this low. What happened to fun?
You said you loved me, WHAT A LIE!
I hate you so much, just DIE!

You went behind my back again,
No more boyfriend, no more best friend.
You kissed her, I saw you with my own eyes,
And to think I chose YOU over the other guys.

No more, ‘baby’, you make me sick,
I’ll call the cops if you don’t get out quick.
No more friends, no more anything!
Take back everything you gave, including the ring.

You broke my heart, now I must break yours,
You have no clue what pain is in store!
You better run boy, because I get those police!
Just TRY my patience! You are such a piece.

I can’t believe you, after all we’ve done!
You went this low? ‘Baby’ I’m stunned.
You said you love me…that’s just another lie,
Boy, I hate you…but you still make me cry.

Okay. I wrote this very recently.

From the very moment I caught a glimpse
Of your beautiful blue angel eyes
I knew then and there, that you were the one
Who would take my heart to new highs

The love you give me is pure and true
It's like finding my right way home
After years of praying to angels above
God gave me one of my own

Cos thats what you are, an angel in disguise
Who I love with all of my heart
And angels never lie, so i believe you
When you tell me we'll never part

I can't imagine my life now without you
You make each days as special as the last
Your kisses, your hugs, even holding your hand
Causes my heart to beat unnaturally fast

I never expected to find my own angel
Someone I could love for eternity
I look at you, a smile across my face
And the eyes of an angel smile back at me ©

Blissful Dreams

Upon the silky pillow, she delicately placed her head
Throughout her mind, thoughts flowed like small streams
Lying peacefully beneath blankets; feelings slowly spread
Floating lazily off into the distant galaxies of dreams..

An image of him silently drifted past; a happy face glowed
Soft kisses were placed on rosy lips; heart rates fluttered
Every night in her dreams, love for him would wildly explode
Slowly crowding into her head, emotions making it cluttered..

Sunshine gleams elegantly onto her face; she happily wakes
Golden hair falls over the pillow; pure skin beautifully gleams
Opening her eyes; a sweet smile from her collection he takes
For as she looks over, she's faced with the man of her dreams..

Alone

She feels all alone
No place to call home
She doesn't know what to do or where to turn
The pain is intense she can feel it burn.

Who she once was got lost along the way
her life once Technicolor is now shades of gray
Every day is a fight
and she struggles with all of her might.

She's lost and confused
Her heart is severely bruised.
She can't find her place
and she has fallen from grace.

Tears roll down her cheeks
but no one will see her weep.
The pain is her's alone.
her emotions are ripped and torn.

Her world has fallen apart
and inside her lies a shattered heart.

I Can't Believe You

You used to do all you promised,
And mean every word you said.
I'd put my very life upon it,
But now, I would end up dead.

There was a time you told me,
You'd be all I would ever need.
But you were never really there,
Your lies continued to mislead.

You pledged me your heart and soul,
But gave me hours on my own.
I kept wishing you would come back,
But it didn't bring you home.

You said that you would listen,
My worries, hopes, and dreams.
They meant nothing at all to you
You're just not what you seemed.

And now you tell me that you've changed.
You say we will be all right
Funny how you decided this
After I wanted to end our fights.

You're like the boy who cried wolf.
He had fun with his little tricks.
But when the wolf came for real
Nobody came running quick.

So although my heart wants to listen
To wait and see if your lies are true,
You have never been here for me
And I know, I can't believe you.

I find myself in recollection

I've managed to write something... it's not the best I can, but it is the best I can for the time being so here it is.

Unseen

Hiding in the shadows, sleeping at day,
Wandering alone we search for our prey.
Black hearted and feeding off your life,
We are immortal, please put down that knife.

Sleep tight at night, don't walk out alone,
Because if we meet, you're not coming home.
Have mercy on yourself as we will have not
And we'll take the life for which you fought.

Nails of glass, a skin so pale, life of woe -
Death, catch us in your arms and let not go!
Loneliness so hard to bear for infinite times,
But it's the price we pay for our wretched crimes.

We have no real name - abominations of nature,
Calls us as you may, but remember for the future
That we are hiding away from your eyes so keen
Search us off if you wish, but we are unseen.

Faces.

Washing down tables in the back corner booth,
She looks down to her feet, afraid to know the truth;
And with a smile, she chokes back her fighting tears -
Wondering where she went wrong along the years.

Faces blur in and out, but she keeps her head up,
As she sits in the corner booth with just her coffee cup;
Her shifts would end and she had nowhere to go,
People would always turn to talk, but they would never know.

Frost covers the window as the busy city faces blur past,
And she'd trace her fingers around that wedding cast -
Asking herself where her life had slipped away to,
And how she could feel that she owes it all to you.

As she leans back against the bathroom wall with tears in her eyes,
She holds the pregnancy test and crumbles from all your lies.
The baby pink that she never wanted to see again,
Was in her hands as faces faded in and out of her head.

you're only going to be blurred by the people

we will switch places until you'll find out how it feels
that what i'm going through right now is tough
that i'm here alone with problems to deal

unseen.
christmas lights all around town.
snows mist, and delightful sound.
Gods smile upon the surface.
Tiny hands and innocence.

stockings upon each bare wall.
to the presents toddlers crawl.
smiles and laughter in the air.
life just seems oh so fair.

the wind blows, as if a kiss..
upon each cheek, never to miss..
the memories made on christmas eve.
and the unseen we all decieve.

the evil inside.
that tends to hide.
each year about this time..
is the hardest to find..
and the most unseen.

i am sorry it took so long. i've been extremely busy lately with a lot of family things. :|

Alone.
And the walls,
They're pushing me in
Pulling me away...
Bringing me closer to my sleep.

But I don't want to go.
Don't wish to be alone.
And as the fluorescence changes
Light turns to darkness.

And I am constantly reminded...
Reminded that loneliness,
Is my one and only friend.

Faces

There's no makeup on the eye
that follows the steps of passer's by
who trip along the way;
to a never ending destination.

It's a sort of stimulation:
how we stumble through the day.

No lipstick on the curves
which speak of an earthly kiss.
And though we litter on those lips,
they whistle with an appeased tune.

The locks hold no spray,
no gel to control the waves
but they crash upon the shore
of a rosy-cheeked bay.

The skin is not soft to touch,
but rough with guilt and age
of which she embraces and accepts.
She finds no fault in our mis-steps;
only a remedy.

Just a mask and a broken heart
You didn't have punish me,

I don't see what was so wrong
About you and me being 'US'.

someone was tearing at my bleeding flesh...
Like long bony hands of hate
Ripping my heart out of my chest!
I heard you tell you loved her,
Knowing I would hear.
The pain of hearing your hate,
Carves away my skin-
With a blunt acidic knife...
It carves away my dreams.
And I'm watching you live your life that way,
I'm watching the laugh and smile.
Then I'm looking at how worthless I've become-
Ho I hate the world so much.
Realizing we're over for good
Is more then my heart can take.
