im confused?

my boyfriend has been talking to his ex lately...and talking excessively ABOUT her... hes always comparing me to her and crap...but then when i asked if he stilled cared about her he said "NO! i hate her" she was terrible to him and treated him worse then dirt...so why would he still care? but i dont know what to do im completely heart broken because shes all he talks about but turns around and says he loves me.... idk i really love him but im not sure if he loves me or her anymore...

Talk to him. You won't know for sure unless you sit down and really talk to him. Let him know you want to know if your wasting your time with him and this has got to stop or he's going to lose you.

he still loves her. tell him to stop what hes doing or your gonna leave him.
if a guy i was dating talked a lot about a ex id just dump him, cause he loves someone else not me.

well i dont think he likes her, personally me and my bf broke up and he has a girl friend and he does the same thing and talks to me all the time, hey! i even go up there on weekends and wee say up all night talk in his room, it doesn't mean anything, me and him are best friend, maybe he just cant tell you that because hes afraid you'lll think something different like for example "he loves her" maybe you should just sit down with him and ask him. good luck

ohkay.. im that 'ex' you are talking about... well not that one.. but the same situation.. but he treated me like crap the first time... he still cares about her and is either trying to get you to be more like her... or trying to get you to break up with him so he doesnt have to feel guilty about breaking up with you

i tried to break up with him...and he tried to commit suicide and made me feel guilty...but i do love him and 'shes' the reason i broke up with him...so im really confused on whether he loves me or her because like i said when i broke up with him he was really depressed unless hes just scared to be alone(she doesnt want back with him) im so confused!

^He sounds incredibly insecure to me. Tell him if he doesn't cut back on this thing with the ex that you are going to leave him. He has no right to compare you to anybody, especially her.

And do NOT stay with him because he guilts you into it. That's what he wants, but he isn't your problem if you break up with him.
