A distant goddess

I am watching
this beautiful
radiant goddess
from so very far away
that unto her
i am as a ghost
silently screaming her name
from he dark side
of the heavens
for all the difference
my wordless cry
seems to make

is an abyss
a nothingness

and hungry vampires feast
and even though
she is so very distant
i can still call her
most any day
as we exchange

a mere ghosts reflection

all i can do is watch her

as she wonders on
her invisible nightmare

and desolate plains

plagues her every footstep

while my blood

when i see her stumble

to loose her balance
along this trail - so fey
as i watch her every glance

the vanished sun

as black as night
