Democracy does not work

Democracy does not work, simple as that.

Today, the new Mexican President was sworn in, amidst choatic disputes between the legitimate winning party and the party that lost.

Much as I love my country, it pains me to see that this is what we get with democracy: a joke... a bad joke.

It's not a true democracy though. The only contry in the world that comes close to it Switzerland. Every other country that uses a democratic process is either a senate based republic or autocratic in nature under the guise of democracy.

I believe it was Will Rogers that said when congress makes a joke it is a law when they make law it is a joke. I don’t belong the any organized political party I am a democrat
Of course I never discuss religion or politics because I ‘m not sure what they are anymore. Anyway welcome to the wonderful world of democracy
