I usually listen to music and it usually comes to me, or i read other poems and they give me an idea. Sometimes I also look at quotes... hope this helps!

sign your self up for a contest that has more then i title....

(Never Before Seen Contest on P&Q) is a good contest i would like to belive... ending on December 8th...

after you reserve a spot in the contest... I usually think a little story line that i want to follow. and if i want to do a specific type of poem then i will look up how to do that poem.

then i begin to write... and when i get stuck i often make myself a cup of hot chocolate (or your favorite drink) and read the poem over a few times before typing again.

I agree with the above post. I had some writers block, and then finally I entered myself into a contest and forced myself to come up with some words... It didn't turn out as good as it could have been because it was forced, but after a while, I came up with the random good line... So after about 3 crappy poems, I had 3 random good lines from each... I don't know if that makes sense to you but hopefully it does.

Another thing you could try is lookin' through your old poems, your really really old poems. Take a look at the things you would change, what you would improve... You might unlock something.

If again that fails, then just rant on paper. Don't pay attention to what you're writing just write it. Some people find that that opens up some thoughts they didn't quite know were there.

My friend looks at something and forces herself to describe it until she's covered every nook and cranny...This apperantly helps her get into the writing mode and opens up some description ideas..She warps her sentences so they it seems like her description is actually metaphorical (or something) for something else...That triggers the poetry.

If none of those help, I'll think up some more and take a look in a bit... Sometimes you just have to wait it out.

Give it time. Occupy yourself with more than writing for the time being to give yourself a break, and eventually it'll come back. I don't think that there's an actual 'remedy' for writer's block, but good luck =)
