I met my boyfriend on the internet. That's right, the internet. We've been dating for 1 year and 8 months now... And we met two months ago.
It's amazing what you can find out there, truly it is...

In media class in my first year of college just over a year ago.
We spent all september and october to shy to speak to each other until we realised we were friends with the same people and we got the same bus home.
Then we found out we were friends when we were little kids and the plot thickened =)
We've been together for nearly a year now and are getting married in 2008 =)
He makes me so happy

I guess it was just through mutual friends, and when he switched to my school we started hanging out.

I had only met him briefly before that, at parties or something. I always called him and his friend the "short kids from halloween". But now he's taller than me, so I guess that doesn't work anymore.

I wish I could say I had some really romantic fairy tale type story, but it really isn't.

Hmm my best friend had a crush on him and kind of sucked him into our group of friends...which was like 20+ people at the time--half guys, half girls. and we'd all get together every single night. the best summer of my life..and the worst. so he never liked her back and he and i started becomming really close AGAINST MY WILL. we tried so hard to stay away from eachother, because we both knew something was developing...but then i told my friend that i liked him. and she told the whole group, and they ostrasized jeff and me. it was really dramatic. i simply told her that i liked him, and i was really really sorry and i wouldn't make a move for as long as she still had feelings for him..even if that took years. but anyway, so jeff and i lost all of our "friends" so we kind of depended on eachother and after a month...when we realized our friends wouldn't accept us ever again, we kissed (on a bridge around midnight as cars were zooming by). and now we've been together for a year and a half. still going strong...but we still have barely any friends. kinda sucks

oh and by the way, she was my best friend since 3rd grade...but after i lost the friendship i realized how shitty of a friend she had always been to me. so i didn't really try to apologize anymore after the first month. we started hanging out every now and then a few months after jeff and i got together, but she has turned into a complete shallow, annoying biznatcho. so anyway, i pretty much avoid her whenever she calls or tries to get a hold of me o.O

Ecstasy, that CAN BE dangerous, not always. But what you said was very beautiful, and although I probubly wouldn't encourage that everybody do that, I'm glad it has worked out and I'm happy for you.

Tizight! Well that's a romantic idea, but I'm sure if you were actually being raped and murdered by some 40 year old acne ridden 280 pound slob...you wouldn't be too pleased. I could be wrong. ANYWAY, I don't think dating someone online and then meeting them in person is a huge risk. No way would someone pursue you for like a year and a half just to rape or kill you. That would be nuts...but then again, that was a huge contradiction. Rapists/murderers usually are nuts. But ok so you met and he was a good guy, that's tight. Hope all goes well o.O

i met my boyfriend at school....
i didn't know him that well, but i knew a little about him. my friend used to love him and they almost got together, but there were complications cause he was moving.

over the summer, my friend got with my ex [a week after i broke up with him]. i acccepted that.

meanwhile, the guy was starting to flirt with me. we'd talk about things, and flirt A LOT.

he made me laugh and helped me through whatever i was going through.

when school started, i was totally over my ex. and we[me and that guy i liked] talked and got even closer.

of course, being a chick, me and all my friends talk about this. and the girl that liked him beofre [which was with my ex] didn't like him anymore.
all my friends knew i liked him. and they got tired of how i always talked about him whenever i talked to them.

in the end, they asked both of us [separately] if we wanted to get with each other.

lol childsih right?

but we're together, three months today. for christmas he got me a diamond ring. :) a friendship/promise ring.

i met my boyfriend sophomore year in spanish 2. he sat on the other side of the room. whenever i would put my head down or do my work or pay attention to the teacher, i would always get a feeling that someone was looking at me and whenever i would look his way, he would be staring at me and then look away. we didn't start talking until he sat behind when second semester started... the first thing he said to me was "ok, i didn't mean to be looking and i'm sorry for asking, but do you have a tatoo on your lower back?" i started laughing.... we didn't get togther till december of junior year and its been a year now..... i still remember those first days of us just being best friends... i remember it all... but im soo happy that our relationship has worked out til this day and i know it will continue to.

i met my bf at school. i had seen him around, but i didn't really meet him until i became best friends with his friend. i started hanging out with them and the more i got to know him, the more i liked him. it's pretty sexy... :-P

i met muh bf in the gym...we were playin football and we ran into each other haha
since then we've been goin out
our one year anniversary is comin up!!!! in 20 days!!!

a friend introduced us over the puter then i met him at a youth thinger and we talked alot after tht and we dated once but it was long distance and it ended but we decided to try it again on dec.27 its been over a week and im happy i remeber the beging of the convo we had when he asked me out i said hi and he told me he loved me and needed me and i couldnt help but smile and i am so in love with him if it were to end i would die on the inside

Well I met my now ex bf on the computer then he moved down here 2 1/2 mnths after he asked me out. I loved him with my whole heart. Then God decided to take his life just a day after our 4 month mark from a car accident. I cried for days. It's been 7 months now since hes passed. And 7 months since I've been single.

i met my boyfriend by the way of one of my marching band friends, she was in marching bnd with me when i was in 8th grade and shewas in 10th they moved down the street fromme, and i met her little brother who is a year and a half younger then me, but it was completly ovius that we liked eachother, and at first i didn't lik e him that much but as we got to know eachother he is a rally aweet guy and im happy to be with him.

i met my boyfriend at a band show thing a few towns away from me. we met that night and we both liked eachother then we didnt see eachother ever again, and ironically my best friend saw him at la casa which is down the road from me and gave him my number. now we see each other almost every day when hes not working. =D

He became my textmate first. He got my # from my former classmate and we saw each other in a bar. Hmm...I never really thought that i would love that guy. Too handsome for me, too kind, too perfect.We're the opposite of each other but that's what makes us compatible.

I met my boyfriend(randy) on the bus at the beginning of the year. He asked a friend of mine for her number but they never started talking. I always thought he was cute. I started dating this guy named devin. and he would always leave me at lunch and Randy knew that hurt my feelings he could see it in my eyes is what he tells me now. anyways so i ended up just eatting lunch with Randy. Then me and dev broke up and i flirted with randy. and he did back. Well one night i was at work and i gota text from him asking me out to winterball( which is a formal) and i said yeah of course and asked him if he wanted to hang out when i got off of work. we ended up hanging out and thats when he asked me out. It was awesome we've been dating for over a month. but he is sooo much differnt from all the other guys and i love being with him. maybe its love. I dont know.
