Just Ella (sorry it's long, but I got on a roll!)

    Rushed straight to the palace
To become his bride so soon
    Counting down the days
And nights with the full moons

    But with each visit shared
    She realized one thing
It was her beauty that he loved
    That and simply nothing

The Royals were to have children
    With beauty beyond compare
And that is what she had
And what she now must share

But when this she found out
The love she had grew cold
And she couldn’t face him anymore
With all the compliments he’d told

But she did have a young tutor
Who came to see her so often
    Teaching her religion
And her heart he did soften

But she wasn’t in love with him
    Not with anyone anymore
She’d trusted her heart at one time
    But that was all before

    Before she knew the lies
And the deceit that filled this place
And now was the time to go
To simply ask to be replaced

And in the while she thought this up
Her young tutor’s dreams came true
He had a refuge camp to build
And help the war victims live through

So she finally went to the prince
And told him she lacked the love
Asking to be free to go
    Wherever she thought of

But he panicked and his counselor came
As well as Ella’s very own
And when she didn’t agree to stay
Into the dungeon she was thrown

Hoping she would change her mind
But she didn’t give in that quick
They sent a rapist to watch Ella
    Thinking that’d do the trick

And then the prince came to kill him
Saying he forgave her and wanted her back
But when she refused him still
For actions they were at a lack

But all the while she’d been digging
A hole, the only one in the cell
And finally reached the night sky
    That greeted her so well.

    So she traveled a “stranger”
    Hoping to remain unseen
Making her way to the camp
Of the man whom loved her then

    And after days of struggle
    She did make it there
    Greeting him with a hug
And quite the concern and care

    But she got something unexpected
As he proposed in little time
But asking him to wait she explained
She’d been confused in heart and mind

And when he was called back to the kingdom
They still were such good friends,
Her wicked “sister” filled in her shoes
But that wasn’t quite the end.

He sent her one more letter
And this time her heart and mind knew
That the one she loved all this time
Wasn’t the one who held her shoe.

    So love isn’t always charming
And is so often very blind
    What you thought you wanted
Can vary over such short time

The prince you see in front of you
And the man standing on the side
Can change in your mind and heart
For love takes quite a ride.

[The Talisman By: Stephen King and Peter Stroud]

    The Curse of the Coin
    By: Twisted Heart

With weathered hands, she reached inside
Her pockets deep and grasped the gold
Pulled it out and as it hit the light
The sparkle of the tarnish glowed.

She flipped it up into the air as I watched it fall
I saw the twist of tarnished gold and how to me it called.

With greedy fingers I snatched the gold
And looked with eyes so bright
The coin took hold, my very soul
And held me that fateful night.

With haste I hurried to my home upon the street of stone
Not tarrying for I now knew my life was not my own.

Inside the darkness of my shanty home
Beneath the glow of a single light
I set to shine this piece of gold
Scrubbing, true, with all my might.

With each caress of cloth on gold, A tremble deep inside
Came to rest within my heart that my mind could not confide.

In wee hours of the morning's dawn
Upon the mist of winter's dew
A wicked life from the coin was spawned
Within my soul it sprung anew.

A darkness formed inside of me, that I could not resist
With hands of ice it captured me and drove me into madness.

My eyes now linger on this sacred stone
It's showed me many horrid things
It's showed me of a life alone
And the evil that it brings

So now I sit, I toss the coin, up to the darkened sky
Then catch it in my pocket, and keep it there to hide.

With weathered hands, I reach inside
My pockets deep, and grasp the gold
I pull it out and as it hits the light
The sparkle of the tarnish glows...

    The Da Vinci Code

To the pyramid must you go
    Where she is waiting below
    Ironically in Demonic Presence
Still her holyness you can sense.

    Simply kneel before her tomb
Right where the sharp blade meets the womb.
Just wishing you could see her grace
and then share it with the human race.

She lies waiting below the rose.
right in front of everyone's nose.
perhaps she soon will be above
So her ancestor can be loved.

Be warned the pyramid is frail.
and should you break it you will fail.
because when you are stuck in jail.
Then they will definately destroy the Grail.

    The tomorrow Series- John Marsden

It all started that one night
When the helicopters flew over head
We didn't know it was true
What we had all just said

After we had left Hell after camping
We didn't know our lives were about to change
It wasn't until we got back home
That we realised something was strange

It was all too quiet now
    Not even a sound
    We figured it all out
    After awhile of looking around

    Thats when we started planning
To try and not get caught
So we could help out our country
It was the invaders we sought

    All the damage we done
    The kids we saved
    We done all we could
    Peace is what we craved

    Now the war is over
And I'm here without my friends
    Going home with my family
This is where it all ends

But today I got a call
    One I wont forget
    My friends were really alive
In a few hours, we all meet

    Now we're all back together
    All four of us
    We all became closer
    Through this whole experience

    If it wasn't for Hell
We wouldn't of been able to fight
    To help save our country
To try and make things right

    The three friends we lost
    Their memories will be cherished
    For their courageous acts
    Not the way they perished

    -----------------------------------
If you havent read it, Hell is the place in the bush were they were camping before the war started and were they hid during the war.

    Candy

    Painted-on masks and dolled-up eyes
Are done for the hidden, deceitful lies
Pretty pinks and bright eyed blues
Are done so as not to hurt you
Mascara painted on the dying face
Sadness, from where, no one can place
Telling you one thing, meaning another
Not just hiding from you, but every other
Foundations of ivory painted on right
Squinting her eyes, holding on tight
Cracked lips behind Red Cherry Number 3
Hiding herself, no way to fool me
Painting her nails on the end of her tips
Hiding the bruises silently forming on her hips
Addicted to the drug, no matter the cost
She could never go back to the life she'd lost
Hiding behind the mask she has made
A shadow of a girl as the light begins to fade

    ♥ Ciao

    JUST LISTEN

    the people talking loud
    all the rumors and lies
i've been lost and now found
because i can see it in your eyes

every word vibrating within my ears
everybody staring at me as i pass by
i try to hold back all my tears
because i know they'll make up another lie

you were there for me when i was alone
and you didn't listen to their crazy lies
you were the only one who i can even call home
i told you everything, my likes and what i despise

you told me to listen, listen to the silence
how loud it is, and taught me to hear
all the noises silence makes and how it's full of violence
to not be afraid of sounds, and silence i should fear

    Twilight

    Through darkness floats a whisper
As he rushes down to kiss her
    Adrenaline pumping,
    Heart has seized a beat
    Bella’s fallen in too deep

    Glances, and smiles, fluttery feelings
    Scent is alluring.
    Deadly,
    Appealing.
    A vampire’s poison, boiling inside
    Suppressed by his loving
    Yet torn by his pride.

((Twilight is a book about a vampire boy and a mortal girl [Bella] falling in love. It's such a lovely book. I highly recommend it!)) =D

    My Sister's Keeper
    by HiddenxSoul

I always looked up to you
Felt you around me every day
Probably because you were in me
Sharing your blood and organs – literally

I owe you my entire life
It can’t get any clearer than that
You shared your interior being with me
It’s much different than sharing a scarf or a hat

You see, suffering from the killer
Of which Cancer is it’s name
Meant you had to constantly save me
And I admit, that brings me shame

I don’t want you fighting for me
I don’t want you to live just to keep me alive
Can’t I just get up and walk around like normal?
Maybe I’ll learn how to grow and strive

I don’t blame you for wanting
The right to your own flesh and blood
I bet having to undergo operations
Is like constantly being dragged through the mud

    I’ll support all your decisions
And I don’t care what Mum or Dad say
Because when you step up in court on that date
Then that will be your day

No more fighting for my life
    No more transplants to undergo
I may not be around anymore
But I really want you to know…

I don’t blame you one single bit
I just want you to be all right
So do what feels good inside
And help me lose my fight

    --

That’s what I said to you
And I was prepared to be brave
But now it’s two months later
And I’m sitting at your grave

You see after the court battle
    Which you ultimately won
    Something terrible happened
    Which can never be undone

A car came out of nowhere
    And smashed right into you
Right then and there, I knew straight away
My word had turned a dark shade of blue

I have your kidney inside me now
Plus a feeling of being cut with a knife
Because you died for me on that fateful day
And gave me the gift of life
