My boyfriend is acting weird....

he proposed to me 10 days ago and now he is pulling all this i dont know if i love you and i dont know if i want to be with you crap. its really hurting me. i dont know wat to do. he talked to me on the phone for and hour and forty-five minutes last night. but he obviously cant seem to stand me being around him. wat do i do?

First ask him WHY he proposed to you if he doesnt want to be with you. Make sure he knows that it is a serious thing, it's nothing to play around with. It could be that he doesnt know that or it could be something your doing. Usually girls tend to act different when they are engaged, maybe he wasnt expecting that. Just act your normal self and thigs should be normal, or there's just something wrong with him.

sounds like to me he is having second thoughts. you know...cold feet...give him some time.

How old is he? If he's the same age as you he's silly for proposing & getting your hopes up.

I agree with getting cold feet. If you're only 17 he probably shouldn't be proposing to you yet, but that's a different topic. I would just tell him that maybe he took things a little too fast and you would like to just go back to dating him. If he feels like he proposed too soon he might be imbarresed to say anything and may be feeling like he has no choice but to force himself away from you. If you tell him you might not be ready for that much commitment it could give him the out he needs to go back to the way things used to be.

well it doesnt matter any more. we are no longer together. he told me that he didnt love me like he used to. so now we are just best friends and i am in so much hurt. i am glad i can be his best friend than nothing in his life. so i'm torn i dont know if i should still try to get him back or if i should just leave us as friends. i could use some help.....please

wtf? maybe he's like.. bipolar or something.. propose to you.. start being distant.. and then break it off? haha.. sorry for the laugh. not cool. he probably didn't think too much on what life would be like if you answered his proposal before he proposed.. then thought about it after.. guys are like that sometimes.. hopefully you get better.. and he matures..

Hey i went through the same sorta thing. i was with my boy for 3 and a half years and then out of no were he started getting all weird and told me he loves me but isn't in love with me anymore. i ended up finding out that he meet a chick on the net that lived in a different state and he was planing to move there. this broke my heart and i felt betrayed. but we stayed best friends and and i also thought should i try get him back?... but from the experience just dnt push to hard cause you might push him away forever. Maybe you should ask him if there is anyone else? me and my boyfriend got back together and were both really happy.
maybe you both just need some time apart?...

Just talk it out with him. Don't judge him right away, listen to where he's coming from.

to be honest i think he loves you but he is just afraid that maybe he proposed to you at the wrong time.he could be afraid of what yours and his life will be like in the future...maybe you should talk 2 him and ask if he needs more time.

these could be signs of cheating. or AKA cold feet. people do that when they become afraid to get married and commit themselves to someone else. thats the best i got sorry =]]
