sterio-typing

Well lets see people will always stereotype other people. Your a teen big whoop, so am I. Its more of a thing of personality.I act very mature for my age, people never call me young or a 'teen' or anything. You should blame yourself more than anyone unless the person is just a jackass who stereotypes everyone. Everyone stereotypes everyone else.. but we all truely know theres no real stereotype, and that everyones different, no matter how small that difference is. Peaces.

everyone stereotypes poeple. like "chavs" just walk up to me and tell me they hate me cuz im a "goth" but id do the same to them, so it dosent matter that much, but i cant stand it wen adults do it, that realy pisses me off.. soo anoying..

Because the only opinions that matter are those of the ones you love. And obviously you don't love these people much, huh. I wouldn't either. But you really can't stop them from stereotyping you. All you can do is not let it bother you.

i hate how when i you walk into a store or something and a worker there will follow you around and watch you just because you are a teen

they always think that just because you fall into that age group that you're going to steal something or blow up the place
some kids are like that, i know, but its not fair to the rest of us if adults just classify everyone into that category

Isn't it ironic how everyone is stereotyping adults as stereotypical?

If you want to be treated like an adult, act like one.

    Grow up children.

the reason they're sterotyping is because they want to see you get mad. Just ignore it and believe what youve always believed.

    it'll show them

Millsy - I am also a teenager, and I have done more "growing up" in my short seventeen years than you will do in fifty.

maybe you should try and bring your super self down to our immature level then huh.

[that was sarcasm, in case your maturity erased any sense of it]

You can't do anything about it, but prove them wrong.

why do you think that when you no nothing or hardly anything about this persons life? how can you judge people online that you dont know??
there is loads of stereotyping on this website
say your a cutter, you are thought of just like all the other cutters eventhough your life could be completly different, and your reasons completly different even your feelings and emotions about the topic completey different.

i know how you feel and no you're not over reacting. at high school i was stereotyped as a loner now i'm in collee i'm classed as emo because i write poetry all day. i'm really fed up. i would try to ignore it if you argue then you'd be proving a point so either way you can't win.
