I know there are times when I treat you so bad
I don't give you the love and respect you deserve
There are some hurtful and cruel things I say
That can make you cry when I hit that nerve

I never mean the words that spill out
It's the heat of the moment, a ridiculous fight

I'm first to admit, I can be cruel with my tongue

it starts with...
i go to school, hang out with my friends
fake another smile, it's so fun to play pretend
i act so stupid, i try to act happy
i make some jokes, and act like i'm funny
i see you across the room, flirting with a girl
i know who she is, she's the girl who rocks your world
inside my body, my soul clenching
but i try to relax, still inside i'm dying
you go to lunch eating with your girl
i see you both together, it makes me want to hurl
you hang out with your friends, who used to be mine
who used to hate you, but now all of you are fine
this is just some stupid game, give it up
you know i always win, so just surrender and stop
so i go home and go to the computer
all the time, it makes me feel better

it's my pay back time and i write about stuff

The bottle dangles from limp hands
Upon the cold ground it now falls
Drained of liquid, a thirst to quench
The blurred vision tells it all.

Sweet body gentle, warms my insides
Consuming all the pain I feel
Like therapy, he lends the aid
To help my wounds to heal

A buffer to dark thoughts I have
With dagger breath he numbs the pain
Of when you left me broke inside
He came to ease my heart again.

One last sip, the bottles empty
On the edge of sanity, I teeter
A common state, you've left me in
He tastes like you...but sweeter.
