and speaking of being psychic, I called the Psychic hotline to see what the new year was going to bring me, and the woman answered the phone.....she asked me my name, and I immediately hung up....I'm mean let's be honest here, if she's psychic, shouldn't she know who was calling...Damn

In my pondering of the New Year I think we, as writers, might have something to learn from the author of a Million Little Pieces who spilled his imaginary guts and sold them as memoirs. The success of his book proves that presentation is everything. The title reflects not only what he was or, was not full of when he wrote this top seller, but also the effect it might have on someone who might find themselves, somewhat in the same state of falling apart. I must admit that I enjoyed the read whether it was fiction or fact. I have to admire someone who is criticized for portraying themselves worse than they really are
