    i see nothing wrong with it, i wish everyone could have confidence in themselves, it would make the world a better place.

    I might not seem like it at times but I do have confidence in myself, at least until I feel as if people are placing too high expectations on me. When that happens I end up feeling confused and afraid of disappointing people and myself. I usually bring myself back to normal though within a short amount of time.

    In fairness I believe Angelina has a point. How can one expect to be accepted, or respected if they do not respect themselves? But then none has said it is wrong to love ones self

    You might as well have called this thread;

    "Do we all have different ideas of what is arrogant or not?"

    And, though I may be going way out on a limb, and perhaps to some of you, actually coming across as arrogant, I'd offer the notion that the answer would be yes.

    There's nothing wrong with having confidence in yourself. In fact, it's an asset in your own personality if you are lucky enough to possess such a skill.

    However, there is a thin line between confidence and being conceited. It's all well and good if you can confidently take part in anything, and do it well. But if you act like a diva and put others down, then at the end of the day, your confidence is just a liability which will gain you nothing but enemies.

    I think there is nothing more attractive than a self confident person as long as it doesn`t come across as arogant on the other hand there is nothing more annoying than a person who brags about themself a fine line I guess!

    Having confidence is a great thing as long as its not overboard and you think you can do no wrong, having to much is bad and having to little is bad there has to be a happy medium

    Having no confidence is just crap. So having too much is better. With none, you're at the bottom of a well and you're not even calling for help. With too much, you may find yourself at teh bottom a well, but the chances are you'd have a reserve to at least try climbing.
