Am i being stubborn!???

ok my moms Husband (now which ive known for six years) is quote on quote my "stepdad". but why do i hate it so much?? for some reason im not very accepting of him because the things he has done in the past to my mom and put my family in jeopardy as well. im nice to him cause i have to be, but other than that i have no intrest in a stepdad. my real dad isnt in my life yet i still dont want a "step" anything. i dont know what to do im running out of ideas and cant seem to open my eyes to try and accept him.

i see where you are comming from... its not being stuborn... its being human. having some one not of blood take over as if he were your blood. its stupid.
