boston or red sox

i'm confused. i don't follow any kind of sports very much so this is probably going to be a dumb question but.. isn't it 'boston red sox' or am i absent-minded at the moment?

Hey, name calling is not the way to respond to simple ignorance. Tuty, you probably didn't know, but now you know-Boston Red Sox.

Obviously maturity level plays its role here w/ the name calling...but if the question was meant to be
New York or Boston...then Boston.
