Never once in my damn life have I had a boyfriend for Valentines Day. Which Suxs!

I love vday, whether I have a bf or not. My friends and I all have our own traditions & bring each other things, to hell with annoying boys.

i ll be in France for Valentines Day this year:) XD (with school)
and you dont have to have a special someone to share it with..... though it sometimes helps. me and my chick friends just do something together and its a whole lotta fun!

I personally believe that it's a Hallmark holiday!! But I still have fun w/ chocolate roses for my friends!!!

i don't like valentines day even though it's my birthday but still i think we shoulden't have one day of "love"it should be everyday. . .

I agree you should show you love somebody EVERY day. Not just one special day a year.

at the same time I do enjoy getting all the extra attention from all the guys since I'm the only steady girl around :) (I'm a merch girl with a band so I'm aroudn the guys 24-7 pretty much so they always do soemthing special for me on holidays since I put up with all their guy crap. I'm not something else lol)

i def. agree with it being everyday! I dont buy things for my bf on valentines day insted i just go with him, pick out a movie we both like, make a special dinner like steak or something (well my mom does.. i cant even cook toast! im pathetically sad i know) and just spend the day with him.. its easy and i dont think that ppl need to spend money to show someone how much they care..it should be shown in a personal way not a materialistic way!

i cant stand valentines day...

if i have a boyfriend then we always break up the day before. if i dont have a boyfriend i get all depressed seeing all the couples holding roses and hands and walking down the hallway smiling. it sucks!!! plus my school is having a poetry slam on valentines day so ill be reading a broken heart poem! yay...

I don't really like Valentine's Day, as my grandfaher died on that day. The year after I was born. So this year it would be 16 years since my Grandfather died, the day after my grandmother's birthday. Another reason is that every Valentine's Day I have been alone.

I've always been alone on v-day...but this year I have a b/f...first v-day with a b/f...I think It's going to be great.

yeah same here as deathrose. i doubt we're doing anything..maybe we'll just watch a movie or something tho..idk. but i plan on writing a poem and making this video as a gift type thingy..yeah..lol. the only thing that sux about vday is that it will b the 1 yr mark since my gpa died..that sux....but yeah. ima shut up now lol

Why do you need an excuse to tell someone you love them?
Valentines day is a commercial made up holiday designed to see how much money they can squander out of you.
And no i'm not bitter, i have a loving fiance and we don't need a certain day to show our love for each other.

Me and Marcus always get presents for each other, i was merely stating you don't need a specific commercial holiday to give someone a present or tell them you love them.

ok so this year i have a boyfriend and hopefully i'll be able to keep him...because i really like him and i'd like to spend valentines day with him...never have i had a boyfriend on valentines day so hopefully this all turns out well

Valentine's Day is a piece of crap. And the last two years I've had boyfriends so I'm not just saying this out of bitterness. It's a ridiculous holiday that stresses lovers out because they feel they have to buy things. Although I think I'm going to do something special for my friends, it's not because I feel obligated to and I'd gladly do it any day of the years. Boo.

Actually sweetie, it is a commercial holiday cos it's a made up holiday. That what you just explained is what people call a myth.
