I Like him, but He doesn't know I Exist

I really like this guy at my school and I really want to ask him out, but I don't know how to. To make matters worse the group he sits with don't exactly like me. If you have any pionters about how to ask him out please tell me.

i don't mean to point out the obvious or take the example of every single post ever made to threads like these, but you're going to have to talk to him sometime or another if you ever want to confront him. and it doesn't really matter if his friends don't like you, it all depends whether he does or not. so go for it.

i totally agree with the last post. you cant really like someone if you never talk to them. you need to get to know them better and chances are that you may not even like the guy after you start talking to him more. but, if you still do like him ask him to hang out or something. you have to take risks and be the bigger person and start talking. he may end up liking you back. and screw what his friends think. its only what he thinks that should matter.

Get to know him. Befriend him. Befriend him really well. That way you'll even know who he really is...that could make you change your mind...and also it could make him like you back.

Also it'd give you indications on wether he likes you or not...so you can be careful in asking him out.

well first, you should get to know him a little better. [yah im sure all these people are saying the exact same thing but its true!] get to be his friend first.
after he feels comfortable with you, i guess you can make your move. ask him if he would want to go to a movie with you or even a dance. whatever you want. make sure you relax when you tell him too ;]
as for his friends, well dont worry too much. i mean like be nice to them and stuff but if this guy likes you and his friends say anything like "oh you shouldnt go out wtih her because.." then the guy shouldnt really CARE what his friends say. you get what im saying? haha
