(First verse)
`Fare you well my dear,
I must be gone,
And leave you for a while,
If I roam away,
I'll come back again,
Tho' I roam ten thousand miles,
My dear,
Tho' I roam ten thousand miles.`
My best friend Crystal is singing this for class and Solo/Duet Ensemble [sp?]. And it really touched me. Because what I think of that verse ^^ is that if someone passes away or cannot be there anymore [ex: broken friendship, family breaking apart, etc.] that one way or another they'll be in our hearts. And we'll always know that either if we knew it or not that they changed us somehow to be what we are now and how we got that way. I just might be like getting you guys bored but don't you guys ever think what this is really talking about? I just love it and I started singing it in 2nd hour class and now I got it stuck in my head. *I'm in 3rd hour now in school. Hehe*
What do you guys think of this first verse in The Turtle Dove?
