COMMENT NUMBER DOESN'T GO AWAY

wouldn't that require a lot more cookie downloading? I mean the way it is now the only time that the cookie for the red numbers showing up gets downloaded is when you log in a new time. I'm bet its possible, and cookies don't take up much space, but there is a technical different between the two.

wow! sounds like you do know your stuff! I was under the impression that the code that makes the red number appear had something to do with login since if you log out, the number disappears (whether or not you have read that comment) and same goes with the new poems red number on your favorites list.

That's not saying that's what I want... I do wish the number would stay until I've read my new comments (or read the new poems of my faves) and disappear after I read them.
