i saw this poem a long time ago, and i wrote down what i remember of it, it is slightly different, but very similar, dose anyone know who wrote it, and what the poem really is?

Do not stand on my grave and weep
I do not lie, I do not sleep, for
When you awake in the moring's hush
I'm a dozen winds, in an uplifting rush
I'm the diamond that shines like snow
I'm the summer crop that grows
I'm the sunlight on feilds of grain
I'm the soft sound of spring rain
I'm the soaring of birds in circled flight
I'm the bright stars that glisten at night
Do not stand on my grave and cry
I do not sleep, I did not die

it's an old poem and no one knows for sure who wrote it

there are two likely peopel that it could be, but no definites

and over the years, the words have been changed so again, the original is not known

why don't you search google for all the different versions, and then take the parts of each that you like best

    that's what i did
