Downraters.

Don't you just hate it when ppl downrate you, like wen u no someone voted 5, n then suddenly ur score is 3, someone obviously voted 1, n no one does that seriously. there should be some way of stoppin them. AAAH!

My poetry is nowhere near a five level. Heck maybe it's a three at the most for all I know but I don't care about downvoting or UPVOTING which is a major problem. And also I doubt anybody's poems are good enough to be straight five's. THe ones I've read that were like that were same old same old poems.

P.S One of your poems has 28 votes all 5 so why complain

i'm not complaining about my poems, i dont think they're at all even close to 5's. i just hate it wen ppl out of spite decide to vote 1's on ppls poems, there's no real need n it's just belittling. neway some of ur poems are 5's in my opinion.

I read two of your poems. The first, I'm sorry I can't remember the title, was voted 5 nine times. I liked what you were expressing but found it too plain and not expanded enough. Your other poem, the one with 28 votes, was another poem that I'm used to reading but the pro side is it expressed in more poetic detail--some of the words you used. That's what we need more of sometimes poetic words.

Anyway, down voting does suck especially when english is not the main language for some people.

i didnt intend it to sound like i thought my poems were 5's, far from it, i post on here to get genuine feedback n to please myself rather than anyone else. i read ur story thing n loved it, u have talent i must say. but im just talkin bout ppl criticising others work without giving a reason, it's unnecessary.

I said in my last post that I understand then what you had meant. I also mentioned how you did have some talent in choosing some poetic words. Probably one of the few people here to who seem to want honest opinions.

Now try making a spin on this thread if you can. Maybe discuss not just down voting but up voting as well. Pros and cons of getting rid of the voting system. Maybe pros and cons of voting in general. Now that would make this thread much better and people won't have to accuse you of complaining. Just some ideas to help you out : )

The main problem with this site is that people are constantly voting 5 and commenting "great, amazing, comment on mine", or some similar. It would be great for people to actually give some constructive criticism, so the people who really deserve 1's know why and how they can improve.

Downvoters = Jealousy
