I'd say guys are harder to impress, because a lot of them aren't really open about what they want or what they like, so it's hard to know what they're thinking.

^^ It all depends on the individual, some males may be easier to impress then others, some females may be easier to impress then others. Like I said before It all depends on the individual.

Really, it's all about the personality.

Some guys don't care, some girls don't care...while other guys really care, and other girls really care.

yeah I agree with Ellie. Stereotyping is annoying and definitely not always true. But in my opinion, I think girls are much harder to impress.

I'd have to say girls because alot of girls expect alot from guys like they need to spend every waking moment with them and buy them stuff all the time... and i know nto all girls are this but alot of the girls i know are.. i think its kinda ridiculous.. but then again guys are kinda hard too because they aren't very good at expressing thier feelings.. i dunno but i think girls!!

some girls--high maintenance, needy, cant stand being single, argue a lot, and wants a guy that loves gossip as much as they do lol.

some guys--dont open up, they want type A figure, expect a girl to be flawless, in need of only sex, and tend to leave girls confused.

see it could go either way. both sex's have things the other doesnt. opposites attract. =o]

i dont think girls are hard to please. its not too hard to figure out what we want. simply- some one to care for them.. always.

but guys- dang what the hell do they want?? i cant even figure out what to buy them for christmas!

I would have to say girls, Britt! Guys are so easily impressed. All you gotta do is show some skin, pop out that booty, and you have them on the floor begging for more!

Both guys and girls are complicated in different ways. I personally find girls to be more complicated...even though i'm one :P. I mean..sometimes girls expect a guy to know when somethings wrong or when they want something. It's funny. Some girls are drama queens and overreact when a they think a guys not doing something right. Guys are complicated, but not as complicated. It's easier to understand them because they just say what they think and tell you what they want. They really are more easily impressed than girls tbh. I also find them easier to talk to :).

girls are. i mean guys can be too, but once you tune into their body language and the meaning of their words, you're good.but girls, like, we want a nice guy, who isnt too nice, a 'bad boy' who treats us like gold, etc.

Guys are more complicated, they are not honest and frank most the time, they don't talk about what they want exactly or maybe they don't even know themselve lol...most girls are honest to thier feelings you can tell what they want

Otherwise (never thought I'd say this) guys are harder to impress. If they are comfortable with you then you're one of the guys... And they aren't shocked by a whole lot. But it's really not the point of this thread. To get back on topic I would say that it does very much so depend on the person. For some people it doesn't take much to impress them while for others you have to do a lot. I've seen guys who try to hard too impress a certain girl, and girls who have done the same. And then I see people be themselves and let the person like them for that, or not at all. Always the best choice in my opinion.

Also, I think, in very broad and general terms if you're a guy you think girls are harder to impress, and if you're a girl you think guys are harder. It's just that whole 'not understanding the opposite sex' idea.

Yeah i think both sexes are hard to impress. both can be shallow, closed minded, expensive, and just closed up. you'd usually hear one of your friends saying 'guys suck bla bla they're sooo freakin complicated what do they want!!' n then theres time when us girls ask ourselves "what do i want?" . it's not the sex of the person, it's the person.

Girls are harder to impress... you're either too nice, a loser, not good looking enough, not big enough, too muscular, too scrawny, ect... It's pathetic...

Guys and girls arent that different. most girls want a gorgeous guy and most guys want someone to care about them too. so you cant just stereo type one as one thing when the other does it to. i know some girls that are more shallow than any guy ive met. and ive met guys that were high maintenance, gossipy, and extremely emotional.

so id say both since it really depends on the person.

Frankly, because they sometimes tell you they want things that they dont want, but really they do. And I dont always pick up on it.

i just think it's individuals. i'm really annoying and i never know what to say so i'm indecisive.
other girls i know, are completely different and say exactly what's on their mind.

but once i see my girlfriend happy, i just forget how hard i worked to make her that happy... and it makes me happy to see her happy...

Look we can all sit here and play stupid, but come on, we all know its girls. Look Im a dude. I got dudes as friends. I listen to these dudes. If a girl has an ass and a decent face they go crazy, or at least would give the girl a shot. Guys need about jack squat to go on.
