Slipping into fairy dust
Thinking happy thoughts
Following a young boy
Where troubles are not

Out of my bedroom window
Soaring into a star
Reminding me that fantasy
Really is that far

But gladly I go with him
Escaping my life down here
Where I worry all the time
And am constantly in tears

Almost there, it's beautiful
More than the eye can take
Waterfalls, and oceans
An extravagant landscape

This young boy that I've followed
And several of his friends
Showed me an amazing place
Where good times don't end.

Pirates and villains lurk in the dark
But never win any wars
Safe within the forests thick walls
Vines as my safeguarding doors

At one time, I thought I'd go back
To the land where time goes on
But I decided I would rather stay
Than live a life full of such wrong

And I found out in Neverland
You do grow up just a bit
So I'm glad I stayed with this boy
And this journey I didn't quit

For he grew up to be a young man
And a lady I turned out as well
But we stopped at a sweet young age
And for each other we fell

Now I am his beloved woman
And he is my one and only man
Far away from the struggles of earth
And all of old age's plans

We can keep on sharing good times
And loving each other forever
The beauty of this wonderful place
Is that you leave....well....never!

(i've always loved the story of peter pan. It's my favorite, but i think that wendy and peter should have stayed together...grown up a little...and got married. I think we need a break from reality and the fact that she never stayed was disappointing. Now I've had the chance to recreate it. Thanks!)

Classical fairytale
Wishes take a longshot
Knights on horses must prevail
For endings with good thoughts

Ever think, did Little Miss Cindy
End up truly
Her small feet squeeze slippers
After step mom hurt her

She's dressed in her beauty
Ready to dance
Trying to find a prince
Whom she'll give a chance

She's natural, hardworking
Been bent up with hurt
Barely breathing
Hands covered in dirt

May tonight be a night
She'll forget her spite
If it's worth the fight
Dance your heart out

Moving to the beat
Dancing with
Her own two feet
Becoming her own music

Hair always tied behind
Is finally let loose
A ball gown did she find
Along with Mother's shoes

Party in the dark
Glowsticks light it up
A walk around the park
Listening to ducks

No one wanted to dance
You didn't get a chance
To find a guy, to love someone
Who'd treat you like a queen

Night is young
But day is old
As larks do quiet
The sun loses gold

Suddenly, sitting
Alone at a bench
There he is, smiling
Looking, staring

Deep into your eyes
His heartwarming gaze
Sending shivers down your spine
And melting the ice around your heart

Step mum's chains have broken

Ugly Duckling

Calmly she waits for recognition
But none see the hidden veil
Behind a face of incognition
She rests within an empty shell

Those who speak her name
Have naught but approbation
For she plays a fair game
Be it her only bequest sensation

Ugly duckling, swimming alone
Beating feat against a current
Falling upon frozen stone
She sees not her sole deterrent

For one who holds no beauty
Harnesses what lies within
Embracing deep fluidity
In a world of shadow sin

A shame to live in such a place
An ugly duckling
With an ugly face

Such an ugly, perfect thing.
