I'm holding another contest..

The topic is:

Cheating. Not a person cheating on you.. but you cheating on someone. I want you to write a poem about how you cheated on the one you love. [You can make it up.. Doesn't have to be real]

RULES:
1. MUST be about the topic -duh-
2. MUST be your own -duh, duh.-
3. MINIMUM cussing, or none at all
4. MUST reserve a spot.

Winners:
First place.. 7 comments [maybe more knowing me :] ]
Second place..5 comments [maybe more]

I say 'maybe more' ; cos my last contest were the same amount.. but i did like, 10 for first.. 7 for second.. and 5 for third. ;; it just all depends. i get caught up!

Press this hate deep into your skin of forgotten, buried lies.

Piercing left-overs is all we are, moving beneath your frame,
Sex appeal and all the lies,
when you finish your laughing game.

yea i think the expectations are too much if you want more to enter. make it just a cheating poem. arent u asking ppl to write about how THEY cheated on others. i don't think many write poems on that, even though id think thats funny. doubt anyone would want to share that...unless their point of view was different. ooh i just thought of an idea for the poem.

She feels an overwhelming guilt

Another relationship was built

Her friend was to keep her company
It was just some harmless flirting
She didn't mean it to go so far
She can't stand the thought of him hurting

That night he worked late 'til gone twelve
Was all to give them a better life
That was when she slept with her friend
Dug in and twisted the knife

She told herself it was just loneliness
But she knows that's really no excuse
She had no will power or self control
She allowed herself to be seduced

Tuesday Afternoons

I put the lipstick upon the counter
As I stare at the one who stares back at me
A stranger to a friend I once knew
I've traded her for some male company. .

I'm patiently waiting in this motel room
For a man who says he loves me
But he cannot leave the wife and the kids
He says they're too weak and too needy.

She's been my best friend since we were just kids
I've looked through her eyes for such a long time
I do hate the way that I've acted on this
But the feelings for him are getting stronger inside.

It started as kicks, just a wee bit of fun
To him, it probably still is
But his arms, when they hold me, is pleasure
A feeling I'm finding so hard to resist.

I long for the time when we'll be together
I yearn for his touch, He'll be here soon
Just one day a week, we find time to spend
His wife's always busy, on this afternoon.

I hear, as he opens the door to our room
I give a last look at myself
I know I should hate the person I see
But she's living her own kind of hell.

I have so many problems right now,
I know that's not an excuse.
But you weren't there,
And he was so sweet.
He said everything would be alright,
As he took my hand and kissed it.

I didn't mean for it to as far as it did.
But I thought it was okay,
Because you weren't supposed to find out.
I wasn't thinking about us,
And now my heart is filled with guilt.
I won't blame you if you end this now.

Because in the end,
I was the one that was unfaithful.
