Do you think he ever liked me, or was just a jerk...?

This guy I met last yr, acted like it liked me.....and so I asked him out but he just said no. So I tried to forget him. But this yr he still acts like that....and does all these sweet not very subtle things to get me to notice him, but when I act the same way to him......he pretends he doesnt like me. Again I tried to forget him....so now that I sorta hate him for doing that to me...hes acting like we never met and he doesnt know I exist......do you think he never really liked me and was just flirting and being a jerk or he really did like me, but didnt know how to say it or was too shy and now that he sees that Im walking away from this, that hes pretending he never felt anything?
Im really confused....

you should try to ignore him and forget him the best you can. sounds a lot like he was stringing you along and he doesnt have feelings for you
