    Change Can Hurt

Wipe away the golden, crystal ashes,
    Hide behind gaping, scarring gashes,
Pick up yourself from many lies,
Press your hands deep within your eyes.
Cry out in help to the nightingale,
    Fall onto the bed with your body so fraile;
Fall to your knees by a bed and pray,
Chose your words carefully for the day.

Grasping on to what is no longer there,
These threats these lies, you cannot compare,
A timeless hate with a thoughtless lie,
Change can hurt but love can defy.
    Check your wrist for the daily words;
Of what they say we have not heard,
Let your heart sing out full with ambition,
Realizing this new sign of utter hate addition.

Look at me; smile with your brand new deceits,
    Defy all those around you who happiness greets;
A lawful trust is by long now broken as it lays,
Amoungst the dirty figures of many broken frays.
    Peaceful twists of your last words you speak;
    Fall to your knees and admit you are weak;
A play on words is what you do portray,
Yet now in front of God, on your knees, you lay.

Now wipe away golden, crystal ashes,
Tell me of your hidden plastic gashes.
I say, I will not lie, I will not cheat,
To this you know you won't be beat.
Change can hurt, but much more stays,
    Underneath the heart the truth may lay;
    Listen closely as you now hear;
Change can hurt to what we hold dear.

    According to silence

In the deepest underground I feel no fear.
Nothing can make my body shake,
    thus the walls are white!

I'm lost in myself, no one will hear.
Unanswered, it's the birth of silence,
    leaving a dying man behind!

A peaceful dream, random as reasons.
Slipping through the tip of my fingers,
    fragments of vast memories.

The sea of constant changing seasons.
    Winter awaits and autumn arrives,
repeating the same song for centuries.

With the colors of autumn snowflakes fall.

    Tranquility!

    Fatal Memories
    by BriBri .x. ♥

    Blurry abstract visions clouding mind
    A tragic story when combined
    Innocence, youth, childhood all lost
At such a young age, she didn't know the cost

Bringing up events from long ago
So the truth, she can finally know
Remembering times she screamed for help
Him taking her, making her yelp

Finding out why her life's been a mess
One way or another, she'll make him confess
Everyone will soon know the truth
Of a little girl, who lost her youth

    I Think Of You
    by Italian Stallion

In the heat of the night
    I think of you
    Push my tears a side
    And try to move on

    But all I see
    Is you in my thoughts
And I know it is going to be
That much harder to move on

    The day you left me
    I was in shock
    Didn't know what to do
    Or even what to say

Now that it's been a few days
    I say I am fine
    But deep down inside
    I'm still crying

    My heart was shattered
When you said lets just be friends
But overtime, I came to realize
Friends is better than losing you

    I love you
    And I always will
    I pray for you
    Night and day

    Hoping that maybe
    Things will change
But I know things happen for a reason
So I know everything will be just fine

    ALL THE WORLD'S A PAINTING...

    All the world's a painting,
    And all the men and women solely pigments;
    Each a stroke of brilliance.
    Each stroke unique,
And symbolizing a part of the earth.

Every fragment of the picture embracing a particular color,
    Creating a diverse scene.
A wash of reds, yellows, and greens,
    Blues, browns, and purples,
With hints of whites and blacks.

Every color expresses a different emotion:
Shades of red defining the bloodshed of war,
Hints of yellow showing intellect of the younger generation,
Stains of green hiding envy of what we can't be.

    Even the intensity of blue speaks to us in the picture;
    It's vocalization all of relaxation and clarity;
The tint of brown whispering to us of warmth, comfort,
    And all that is dull;
While the blush of purple shows the royalty among us,
    Ruling us to no end.

    Last but not least,
    Those whites,
    And those blacks.
    Each completely different,
    Balancing everything out.
Yet can lead to the same thing,
    A final look on life.
Sans color, sans life, and all that is good and bad.

    Mixed up world

    The line between pleasure/pain
is very thin It sometimes overlaps
    that's when pain is good
    Pleasure is bad
Wrong is right right is wrong
    But right is always might
Night is day day is night
    Shut out the light
The world is turned upside down
with no one to turn it right

    Childish Dream

The sun sinks on the horizon
    Lights dim everywhere
    Children head off to bed
    Some without a care

They first pray to their gods
That they may live through the night
Then they climb into bed for sleep
And blow out the candle light

But there is one child awake
    As darkness draws nigh
She lays her head upon a windowsill
Looks up at the heavens with a sigh

Her face sparkles at the beauty of the stars
She gazes up with a haunting fear
Then her eyes begin watering terribly
Could this possibly be a tear?

Silent sobs echo throughout the house
Her heart crying for her true love's embrace
The one who'd rescue her soul from destruction
He that would save her from this wretched place

No more scrubbing of floors or washing walls
No longer would she clean for pennies a day
Her knight in shining armor will come for her soon
Taking with him all her pains and anguish away

A silent ruffle of her azure curtain rags wakens her
Reality slowly begins to settle in her head
She wipes a tear or two before getting up
Quietly, she wanders off to her small bed

She speaks a prayer to the gods before drifting off
Then climbs in and puts out the tiny candle's gleam
She closes her eyes to let sleep take her over
Hoping to see her prince in her childish dream

    Roses In My Hand

The beauty as I see it
    Lies flawless in my hand

    Crystal tear drops are burning
    Wilted petals where I stand

    In sync they fall together
    Roses blossomed in the dark
    A flower, oh so pretty
    Yet alone in every part

    Deep...
    Bloody red in color
With love and thorns of death
    Beautiful...
    For beholding eyes
    Yet pain for every flesh

It's 3 in the morning but you're still on my mind,
The tears blur the darkness, making me blind.
    I can't pretend I don't miss you, because it'd be a lie,
Even though it's over, I can't just say goodbye

If there's one memory I don't want to lose,
It's the feeling that I had when I was with you.
Everything before you had no meaning,
But now I realize it was you I was missing.

Though no one can decide who it is we dream of,
The person of whom I dream is the one I love.
You mean so much to me, but you're fading away,
I'll give up everything to just have you one more day.

All I can do now is just lay around in bed,
So many memories keep replaying in my head.
I remember what it felt like to be in your arms,
You took my heart with your kindness and charms.

I just keep falling harder and harder each time,
Though we're apart, can't get you outta my mind
Life without you has just been a living hell,
Baby, can't you see? You got me under your spell.

My door is always open, if you don't want to move on,
Sometimes you don't know what you got until it's gone.
But I don't want to be without you, so I'll be waiting,
If only I could go back in time, I could've saved this aching.

Don't want no one else, but don't want to be alone,
I'm falling apart at the seams, apart bone by bone.
The only one I want to be with anymore is you,
I try to move on, but you crawl into everything I do.

I think of you for hours on end, as I lie in bed awake.
I know why you ended us, I'm more then you could take.
I know being with me wasn't easy, but I tried,
I know I was wrong, shouldn't have kept it all inside.

Though I can't feel a thing, you can find much then me,
I'll always remember you, but it's time you be free.
I guess that some things are just not meant to be.
Because the truth is, you're so much better then me...

    She's Finally Over You
    by ~Princess Disaster [♥]

She washes the makeup off her pillowcase
As the lines of stress melt off her face
All the letters, tucked away in her drawer
She promises not to look at anymore

All the memories float around her head
As with anything he ever had said
She collects them all and holds them in her hand
She knows now, and now she can understand

She gently places them into a box in that drawer
Another thing she promises not to look at anymore
She glances around her little space
As the hurt and pain is slowly being replaced

No more waiting, spending countless nights alone
No more useless stares at the telephone
She’s ready to move on, to leave the past behind
To search for true love, just something, to find

She laughs at his memory; she laughs at his fun
She thinks to herself, “What’s done is done.”
She removes the pictures of the two of them together
How funny it seems, when you believe in forever

Into a box, a final spot to rest
No more memories scattered around like a mess
She turns to her mirror, her image is shocking
She never knew the beauty that he was blocking

Those dark blue eyes, always hidden behind tears
The lines on her face, created by fears
No more worrying about things, known never to come true
She’s not waiting for wishes or any dreams of you

She’s smiling now, what a change to her face
Like a magical gift, in her hands, has been placed
She has confidence now, no more worrying about stuff
She ended her heartache, enough was enough

So she places the box inside the drawer
And as she locks it, there’s no pain to ignore
She was afraid it might be hard, but she got over it
She’s a fighter who was not about to quit

Now that she doesn’t have to keep her façade
There’s no need for her sweet charade
Times change and most people to do
But one things for sure, She’s Finally Over You

    whew! I made it lol!
