He wrote a poem.....

I'm looking for a poem that starts every stanza with that line. It'sa about a boy's descent into drug addiction and as his addiction grows, the grade of paper goes down until it ends with him writing a poem on the back of a matchbook cover. Does anyone know this poem? Thanks!

It's a book, called The Perks of Being a Wallflower, or something - twizzler used it as the title of the poem

but I've seen it on several other sites as well
