To Kill A Demon Baby

First get the gun
Don't have too much fun
Because the demon baby will come back
And if you don't run well...just don't slack
They are already dead
So when you lie down listen for them in your head
It whispers a soft curse in your ear
But have no fear
The curse breaks after it has been shot...easy
And killed to leave the world at ease

In a land that's far away
Elves harbor a secret everyday
In the corner of their land
A locked brass door stands tall and grand

One old elf held the key
To the door of mystery
One green bear just had to know
Where did this forbidden door go?

When the old elf was asleep one night
The green bear stole the key, though it wasn't right
He ran to the door quickly and unseen
And left behind his world of green

The green bear unlocked the door
And saw a world of pink and purple galore
In went the bear, for he loved adventure
And so he traveled on this venture

The pink and purple world was sparkling bright
The bear shielded his eyes to block the light
But then the bear saw something he couldn't believe
The bear knew without one, he could not dare to leave

The shining pink was bright pink bunnies
Jumping around and pretending to be funny
The bear wanted a bunny to call his own
So he traveled farther into the unknown

The green bear stepped through the purple haze
The purple was flowers that were patterned like a maze
The bear spotted some pink bunnies a few feet away
He smiled slyly and began his buffet

The green bear ate up all the bink bunnies
He dipped some of their fur in pink honey
When the bunnies were gone, he was so stuffed
With bunnies, their fur, and all of their fluff

The green bear went back to his green land
Put the key back by the old elf man
This may seem sad, but in the forbidden land was laughter
The bright purple flowers lived happily ever after

You took the best parts of me and now they’re gone,
I can’t pretend I don’t care that you so easily moved on.
I guess I couldn’t measure up to what you wanted in me,
I’m guess I’m just not good enough for us to be.

Somehow I have to learn to deal with just being friends.
I just miss you so much; I miss the feelings I had,
But now I’ve been left alone, and it’s just so sad.

I completely hate myself for losing you,
If I could I’d restart time, and I would do-
Anything in my power to get you to just see,
That I love you, and just wish you still loved me.

I think about the past from dusk ‘til dawn,
As tears fall down, I just can’t believe you’re gone.
I didn’t really believe when you said the word forever,
I wish it were true, but I guess we’ll be together for-never.

I know you’re not going to give me another chance,
We’ve been through so much and kept our weak stance.
I just wish that I wasn’t such an idiot for not being right,
As I scream into my pillow all night…every night.

I hate myself just so much for losing you,
Man there is nothing that I wouldn’t do-
To get you back. And for you to just see.
That I love you…but I guess you're over me.
